Abstract(s)
Introdução: A hospitalização confere vulnerabilidade quer à criança doente quer à família,
desencadeando sentimentos como o medo e insegurança. Ambos são colocados num
ambiente desconhecido, com novas rotinas, equipamentos, regras, estímulos, pessoas,
procedimentos dos quais poderá resultar dor. Perante esta problemática, o Enfermeiro
Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica deve procurar intervir humanizando os seus
cuidados, de forma a colmatar os sentimentos negativos resultantes do impacto da
hospitalização,
Objetivos: Desenvolver capacidade crítica e reflexiva relativa a todo o processo de
aquisição de competências de Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica nos
diferentes contextos da prática clínica; realizar uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura
relativa à temática da Humanização dos cuidados à criança e desenvolver uma proposta
de intervenção que dê resposta às necessidades identificadas.
Metodologia: No primeiro capítulo foi utilizada uma metodologia crítico-reflexiva e no
segundo capítulo uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura. A pesquisa foi efetuada nas bases
de dados disponíveis do motor de busca EBSCO (CINAHL Complete; MEDLINE
Complete; Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive; Cochrane Central
Register of Controlled Trials e MedicLatina) com a expressão de pesquisa: child,
hospitalized AND nurs* OR pediatric care AND (humanization OR health facility
environment OR culturaly competent care).
Resultados: Da pesquisa efetuada, obteve-se uma mostra final de 6 artigos, publicados
entre 2012 e 2022, de acordo com os critérios de pesquisa previamente definidos.
Verifica-se que a maioria dos estudos fazem referência à ludoterapia como uma
intervenção que deve ser utilizada pelo Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e
Pediátrica na humanização dos cuidados, seguida do cuidado centrado na família e a
estrutura e ambientes organizacionais.
Conclusão: Este trabalho pretende fundamentar para intervenções que favoreçam a
humanização, de forma a melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados e potenciar um crescimento
e desenvolvimento saudáveis das crianças. Será importante, para isso, promover a
formação dos profissionais, para que a ludoterapia seja um fator preponderante, pensando
nas estruturas e ambientes adaptados a cada etapa de desenvolvimento, sendo estes
cuidados centrados nas famílias.
Introduction - Being Hospitalized gives a feeling of vulnerability to both the sick child and the family, triggering feelings such as fear and insecurity. Both are placed in an unfamiliar environment, getting used to new routines, equipment, to many different people and even to some procedures that may be painful. Faced with these issues, pediatric health specialist nurses must try to humanize their care, to overcome the negative feelings resulting from the impact of being in a hospital, in many cases, for long periods of time. Goals – To develop critical and reflective capacity related to the entire process of acquiring skills as a pediatric health specialist nurse in different contexts of clinical practice; carrying out an Integrative Literature Review on the topic of the humanization of childcare and developing an intervention proposal that responds to the identified needs. Methodology - A critical-reflexive methodology was used in the first chapter and an Integrative Literature Review in the second chapter. The research was carried out in the available databases of the research engine EBSCO (CINAHL Complete; MEDLINE Complete; Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Comprehensive; Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials e MedicLatina) with the search expressions: child, hospitalized AND nurs* OR pediatric care AND (humanization OR health facility environment OR culturaly competent care). Outcomes - From the research carried out, a final sample of 6 articles was found, published between the years 2012 and 2022, according to the previously defined research criteria. It was found that most studies referred “play therapy” as a practice that should be used by the specialist nurse in Child Health and Paediatrics in the humanisation of care, followed by family-centred care and organisational structures and environments as well. Conclusion: This work aims to support practices that promote, not only humanization to improve the quality of care, but also the healthy growth and development of children. To achieve these goals, it is essential to promote the training of professionals, so that “play therapy” becomes a preponderant factor, having into account structures and environments adapted to each stage of development, being this care centered on families.
