Abstract(s)
O trabalho tem como principal objetivo o estudo da “Agricultura de precisão na cultura do
milho”. Dada a importância deste tema na agricultura decidi acompanhar a preparação e a
instalação da cultura do milho na Quinta da Cholda. A agricultura de precisão é muito
importante para a modernização da agricultura em Portugal. Devido a diversos fatores,
neste momento é na zona mais a sul que está mais focada em implementar estas novas
aplicações. Para alem do acompanhamento das operações também foram elaborados dois
ensaios com variedades de milho. Num apenas foi utilizada uma variedade com densidades
diferentes, no outro ensaio foram utilizadas diferentes variedades com a mesma
densidade. Antes da sementeira foram elaborados mapas de densidade, com base em
análises, mapeamento do solo e mapas de produtividade dos anos anteriores. A finalidade
da utilização da AP é produzir mais, baixando os custos de produção, causando um menor
impacto no meio ambiente.

Given the importance of this theme in agriculture I decided to follow the preparation and installation of corn crop in Quinta da Cholda com. This theme of precision agriculture is very important for the modernization of agriculture in Portugal. Due to various factors at this time it is in the southernmost zone that is most focused on implementing these new applications. In addition to monitoring the operations, two trials with maize varieties were also prepared. Only one variety with different densities was used, in the other test several varieties with the same density were used. Prior to sowing, density maps were prepared based on analysis, soil mapping and yield maps from previous years. The purpose of using AP is to produce more, lowering production costs and being more environmentally friendly. Keywords: precision agriculture, fertilization, sowing
