Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho de projeto de intervenção aqui desenvolvido, pretendeu mostrar o
resultado duma investigação focada na resolução da problemática, que a comunidade de
Osteopatas portugueses se tem vindo a deparar devido à ausência de um local que reúna
informação referente a esta área e que sirva de suporte para o conhecimento e
divulgação desta profissão.
Atendendo aos desafios impostos pela evolução da Osteopatia e o seu longo percurso de
regulamentação, este trabalho de projeto iniciou a sua investigação na análise
documental, revisão literária, utilizou para a recolha de dados os instrumentos de
inquérito por questionários a uma amostra de 223 alunos e docentes de Osteopatia,
distribuídos por sete escolas de norte a sul do país, e também entrevistas
semiestruturadas a dois interlocutores-chave no papel do desenvolvimento da
Osteopatia em Portugal.
Os resultados obtidos permitiram servir de ponto de partida para a conceção de uma
Plataforma de Osteopatia Nacional, que visa utilizar as ferramentas disponibilizadas
pela Web 2.0 como meio de suporte e instrumento, para a promoção do
desenvolvimento científico e a construção colaborativa de uma comunidade de
conhecimento na área da Osteopatia.
This present work of intervention project developed, intends to show the result of an investigation focused on the resolution of the problematic that the community of Portuguese Osteopaths has been dealing due to the absence of a place that gathers information of this area and serves as support for the knowledge and divulgation of this profession. Given the challenges posed by the evolution of Osteopathy and its long regulatory course, this project work began its investigation in the documentary analysis, literary review, used for the collection of data the instruments of inquiry by questionnaires to a sample of 223 students and Osteopathy teachers distributed by seven schools from north to south of the country, as well as semi-structured interviews with two key interlocutors on the role of Osteopathy development in Portugal. The results obtained served as a starting point for the design of a National Osteopathy Platform, which aims to use the tools provided by Web 2.0 as a medium of support and instrument for the promotion of scientific development and the collaborative construction of a knowledge community in the Area of osteopathy.
