Os uniformes dos militares da Marinha definem as suas categorias hierárquicas e classes, e devem permitir elevar os níveis de motivação e moral dos seus militares, pelo que as necessidades operacionais e não operacionais (de serviços), ao nível do fardamento, carecem de respostas que incorporem a adequabilidade e a satisfação do pessoal conjugando-as com as melhores soluções de mercado.
Com o presente estudo pretendeu-se identificar os artigos de fardamento, que melhor satisfazem as necessidades de fardamento a bordo e de serviços.
Para tal, o percurso metodológico incidiu numa estratégia de investigação mista, utilizando o método indutivo e o desenho de pesquisa de estudo de caso.
Decorrente do questionário aplicado e das entrevistas efetuadas, verificou-se que os militares não estão satisfeitos com os atuais uniformes. Também se constatou que consideram adequada a possibilidade do “Uniforme Único Operacional” substituir o serviço interno e fato de embarque.
Dessa forma, conclui-se que as necessidades de fardamento identificadas para a criação do Uniforme Único Operacional, satisfazem melhor as necessidades de fardamento do que os atuais uniformes.
No mercado existem empresas com capacidade de oferta de Tecnhical Textile (tecidos técnicos) adequados aos artigos identificados para constituírem o Uniforme Único Operacional. Abstract: Navy uniforms define their hierarchical categories and classes, and should allow to raise the levels of motivation and morale of their military, whereby the operational and non-operational (service) requirements, concerning uniforms, need answers that gather the suitability and satisfaction of the staff, combining them with the best market solutions.
The purpose of this study was to identify the uniforms that best meet the requirements of on-board uniforms and services.
To this end, the methodological course focused on a mixed research strategy, using the inductive method and the case study research design.
As a result of the questionnaire applied and the interviews carried out, it was tested that the military are not satisfied with the current uniforms. It is also noted that they consider suitable the possibility of the "Unique Operational Uniform" replace the daily uniform and the boarding uniform.
In this way, it is concluded that the uniform requirements identified for the creation of the Unique Operational Uniform better satisfy the uniforms requirements than the current uniforms.
In the market, there are companies with the capacity to offer Tecnhical Textile suitable with the items identified to compose the Unique Operational Uniform.
