Face à situação atual da economia é imperativo que as empresas se tornem cada vez mais competitivas e centrem os seus esforços na otimização dos seus processos.
O presente trabalho apresenta de forma objetiva e concisa o caso de estudo desenvolvido na empresa Metalúrgica Palmelense Lda, onde foram implementados os processos e procedimentos associados à atividade de planeamento, tal como o desenvolvimento de ferramentas a dar apoio a esta tarefa, incluindo o processo de implementação de programa informático que suporta esta atividade com o objetivo de otimizar o planeamento dos recursos humanos disponíveis e assim minimizar custos associados com perdas de produtividade e até permitir a análise da capacidade disponível que permitirá a tomada de decisão na entrada de novos projetos. Neste sentido foi feita a recolha de dados na produção referente ao dispêndio de horas por tarefas e respetivos fluxos de fabrico, foram posteriormente criados mapas de excel para sistematizar os dados recolhidos que foram por sua vez utilizados como base para o desenvolvimento de um programa informático que permite a gestão dos recursos humanos da empresa de forma otimizada.
Os objetivos delineados foram, na generalidade, alcançados, centrando-se o contributo na sistematização das práticas de planeamento, gestão e controlo dos recursos humanos. A empresa encontra-se num processo de ajustamento às ferramentas e programa implementados, havendo ainda alguns pontos associados ao programa em desenvolvimento e ajuste.
Given the current state of the economy, it is imperative that companies become increasingly competitive and focus their efforts on optimizing their processes. This project presents objectively and concisely the case study developed in the company Metalúrgica Palmelense Lda, where the processes and procedures associated with the planning activity were implemented, as well as the development of tools to support this task, including the process of implementation of a computer program that supports this activity with the objective of optimizing the planning of available human resources and thus minimizing costs associated with productivity losses and even allowing the analysis of available capacity that will allow decision making in the entry of new projects. In this sense, production data were collected regarding the hours spent per task and the respective manufacturing flows. Afterwards, excel maps were created to systematize the collected data which were used as a basis for the development of a computer program that enables optimal management of the company's human resources. The objectives outlined were generally achieved, focusing on the systematization of planning, management and control practices of human resources. The company is in the process of adjusting the tools and program implemented, and there are still some issues associated with the program under development and adjustment.
