Abstract(s)
a temĂĄtica Ă© pouco explorada.
quatro categorias: VivĂȘncias no Momento do DiagnĂłstico; VivĂȘncias Durante a
a temĂĄtica.
Breast cancer is one of the public health challenges, being the most common cancer in pregnancy. Despite the low incidence, breast cancer associated with pregnancy has been increasing due to the tendency to delay motherhood. In order to be able to respond to their needs, it is important to understand the experiences of pregnant women with breast cancer and to contribute to the improvement of care provided by Specialist Nurses in Maternal and Obstetric Health. This report reflects my learning path in developing the skills of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health and the Master's degree. Throughout the various clinical contexts, I favored advanced nursing practice based on scientific evidence. Betty Neuman's Systems Model was the frame of reference that guided and supported my care practice, as it focuses on the person and the environment in nursing interventions at the three levels of prevention. I carried out a scoping review according to Joanna Briggs Institute with the question "How does a woman with breast cancer experience pregnancy?" demonstrating that the theme is little explored. I conducted a study of qualitative approach and from the content analysis of the discourse of the seven interviewed participants, four categories emerged: Experiences at the Moment of Diagnosis; Experiences During Pregnancy; Support Network and; Overcoming Strategies. For Specialist Nurses to be prepared to take care of these women, it is imperative to invest in training and in carrying out more research on the subject.
