Abstract(s)
Este estudo pretende mostrar o desenvolvimento de habilidades motoras num
grupo crianças da educação de pré-escolar que tinha algumas dificuldades na
manipulação de objetos. Além disso, o estudo mostra a importância do desenvolvimento
motor em crianças com idades compreendidas entre os três e os seis anos de vida. Nesta
fase a criança passa por muitas alterações e maturação a nível de motricidade fina e
global. Por volta do segundo ano de idade a criança adquire todas as habilidades
motoras rudimentares e entra num estágio de desenvolvimento de habilidades motoras
fundamentais. Para culminar este desenvolvimento surge a manipulação de objetos.
Estas habilidades são apreendidas até aos 9/10 anos. A diversidade de experiências e de
estímulos vão ser importantes para desenvolver de forma contínua as habilidades
motoras da criança. O educador não deve separar esta área das restantes, devendo
articular todo este processo com o lado cognitivo.
This study shows the development of motor skills in a group of pre-school children showing some difficulties in handling objects. Furthermore it shows the importance of motion development in children from 3-6 years old. At this stage the child goes through several changes on fine motor skill development and begins a stage of basic motion skills development. This stage ends with object handling. These skills are acquired until the age of 9-10. The diversity of experiences and external factors will be crucial to the continuous development of the child's motion skills. The educator should never separate this area from the others, he should coordinate the process between this and the cognitive area.
