Abstract(s)
No entanto, a
exportação de I&D.
Abstract: With globalization, the world becomes a single market. The activity of the company is defined not only by the local market but by the whole world markets. Nowadays the financial crisis, a domestic saturated market and a high level of competitiveness pointed that the solution for the companies have to pass through the internationalization and through the focus for the global economy. For the Portuguese companies the emerging markets appear as the most profitable for the internationalization. The involvement on those kinds of markets has been recognized by now, although the companies have to overcome many difficulties. However, the participation of companies in emerging markets means enormous challenges, the cyclical and structural risks require form companies to develop appropriate strategies for successful internationalization. As secondary objectives on this study purposes are: 1) to understand models and theories of internationalization, 2) to distinguish the internationalization strategies and finally 3) to distinguish the motivations for the internationalization of companies in the sector under study. The methodology followed in this work on the empirical research was the inquiry and the analysis of the empirical results were made on the SPSS program. In the end of this research we can conclude that although some companies in the precast concrete industry are strongly established in the international market, most are dedicated to the production with a strong orientation to quality and to the export of R&D.
