Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de projeto de investigação, surgiu no âmbito do Mestrado
em Educação Pré-Escolar, articulado com as Unidades Curriculares Estágio em
Educação I, II e III e Seminário de Investigação e Projeto I e II. O estudo foi
realizado nos contextos de creche e pré-escolar, sendo o tema “Promoção de
hábitos de leitura em Educação de Infância”, que considero transversal aos dois
contextos.
Esta investigação foi desenvolvida segundo a metodologia de investigação-ação
e a modalidade investigação qualitativa, cujos procedimentos de recolha,
tratamento e análise de informação foram a observação participante, as notas
de campo, os dispositivos de multimédia – fotografia e gravação áudio –, análise
documental, o inquérito por questionário dirigido às educadoras dos dois
contextos e às famílias do pré-escolar, bem como o inquérito por entrevista
realizado a um pequeno grupo de crianças.
Tendo em conta que não foi possível realizar uma intervenção que desse um
maior sustento à investigação, devido alguns constrangimentos existentes, como
a ausência da educadora cooperante de creche devido à função de
coordenadora, o contexto pandémico em que vivemos e o facto de me encontrar
grávida e ter interrompido o estágio em contexto pré-escolar, foi realizado
através dos dados recolhidos uma análise de cada contexto educativo, a
discussão de resultados e uma proposta de atividade. A atividade teve como
base os dados recolhidos, a análise e as pesquisas para o enquadramento
teórico, mas não foi implementada nos contextos.
This research project report emerged within the scope of the Master in Pre School Education, articulated with the Curricular Units Internship in Education I, II and III and Research Seminar and Project I and II. The study was carried out in the context of daycare and preschool, with the theme “Promotion of reading habits in Early Childhood Education”, which I consider transversal to both contexts. This research was developed according to the action-research methodology and the qualitative research modality, whose procedures for collecting, processing and analyzing information were participant observation, field notes, multimedia devices – photography and audio recording –, document analysis , the questionnaire survey aimed at educators from both contexts and at preschool families, as well as the interview survey carried out with a small group of children. Bearing in mind that it was not possible to carry out an intervention that would give greater support to the investigation, due to some existing constraints, such as the absence of the cooperating daycare educator due to the role of coordinator, the pandemic context in which we live and the fact that I am pregnant and having interrupted the internship in a pre-school context, an analysis of each educational context, the discussion of results and an activity proposal was carried out through the data collected. The activity was based on the data collected, analysis and research for the theoretical framework, but was not implemented in the contexts.
