| dc.description.abstract | Nos dias de hoje, o mundo enfrenta sérios problemas a nível da sustentabilidade; o planeta não tem capacidade de se regenerar para fazer face ao consumo extenuante dos recursos naturais. A repercussão é visível não só ao nível ambiental, mas também económico e social, sendo a situação mais acentuada nos países em desenvolvimento. Esta questão impulsiona as populações, os países e as organizações a implementar práticas sustentáveis como a Logística Inversa. Apesar das fortes motivações para esta implementação, existem também limitações com origem em barreiras que variam consoante o país e o setor de atividade. O estudo a desenvolver no âmbito da presente dissertação de mestrado tem como objetivo identificar as principais dificuldades no processo de devolução de inventários em excesso e de logística sazonal na MC (Modelo Continente). Para alcançar o objetivo, foram definidas várias etapas: a visita aos entrepostos (Maia e Carregado) onde ocorreu entrevista informal com os Diretores dos respetivos entrepostos, a visita às lojas onde estive com o Gestor Operacional das lojas Continentes, a visita às direções comerciais, onde falei com a responsável por negociar o processo da devolução. Houve a recolha de uma elevada quantidade de informação, fazendo uso dos sistemas de informação presentes na empresa. O caso de estudo centra-se no processo de devolução da campanha de Páscoa das lojas Continente, Continente Modelo e Continente Bom Dia, tendo sido analisadas as suas principais limitações. O objetivo foi cumprido, graças ao entendimento do processo da Logística Inversa em todas estas etapas. Todas as devoluções acarretam custos às empresas, independentemente do motivo. Na elaboração da presente dissertação foi possível analisar as atividades da Logística Inversa entre as lojas e o entreposto e entre o entreposto e o fornecedor, assim como identificar o processo e as suas limitações. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, the world faces serious problems regarding sustainability. The planet is not capable of regenerating itself in order to combat the depletion of its natural resources. The repercussions are visible not only at the environmental level, but also at the socio-economic level, being more pronounced in developing countries. This issue drives countries and organizations to implement sustainable practices such as Reverse Logistics. Despite strong motivations for this implementation, there are also limitations that arise from drivers and barriers which change depending on the industry and country. The goal of this dissertation is to identify the main hardships of the return process of excess stock and seasonal goods in Sonae MC. A bibliography of the logistics field was used as support for the creation of the study model in order to meet the needs of the company. To achieve the goal set forth above, various stages were defined: visiting the warehouses (Maia and Carregado), visiting the stores, visiting the commercial department, and collecting a vast quantity of data by leveraging the company’s data systems. The case study for this dissertation was the return process of the Easter campaign in the Continente, Continente Modelo and Continente Bom Dia stores, focusing on the analysis of its limitations. The goal was met due to the understanding of the Reverse Logistics process during the above stages. All returns result in costs to the company, no matter their cause. During the development of this dissertation, it was possible to analyse the Reverse Logistics activities between the stores and the warehouse and between the warehouse and the manufacturers, as well as identify the process and its limitations. | pt_PT |
