Abstract(s)
A Diabetes Mellitus é uma problemática com impacto em Portugal. Nesse sentido foi
desenvolvido um projeto de intervenção comunitária, no âmbito da consulta de enfermagem de
diabetes, dirigida aos enfermeiros dos cuidados de saúde primários e hospitalar que realizam
essa consulta, de forma a partilhar conhecimentos e uniformizar intervenções. O objetivo foi
melhorar os conhecimentos dos enfermeiros sobre diabetes.
Foi utilizada a metodologia de planeamento em saúde, realizadas entrevistas
semiestruturadas aplicados questionários de avaliação de conhecimentos e realizado um
Workshop, com duas sessões, intitulado “Formar para Educar em Diabetes”.
A intervenção com o Workshop sobre várias áreas abordadas na consulta de diabetes foi
considerada muito positiva pelos enfermeiros. É essencial continuar a intervir com vista à
uniformização de conhecimentos e intervenções de enfermagem, no âmbito da consulta de
enfermagem de diabetes, realizada nos cuidados de saúde primários e hospitalares.
