| dc.description.abstract | Se puede mirar hacia atrás y observar cómo, en diversas etapas de la historia, la arquitectura vernácula, ha sido fuente de inspiración de grandes arquitectos. De ella han aprovechado aquello que mejor se adaptaba a las necesidades del momento. Hoy en día, esa necesidad se encuentra en la búsqueda de la sostenibilidad, conseguir una arquitectura vinculada a satisfacer las necesidades del presente sin comprometer las futuras. Diversos autores defienden la capacidad que posee la arquitectura vernácula para inspirar a una arquitectura más sensata. Una arquitectura que sin perder su contemporaneidad consiga ser más sostenible. Dicho término engloba tres aspectos: el ambiental, el cultural y el económico; y una combinación de los tres es lo que se intenta alcanzar en el proyecto de esta disertación. La intención de la presente disertación es identificar estrategias sostenibles presentes en la arquitectura vernácula que se adapten a las exigencias arquitectónicas de la sociedad actual; para, posteriormente, aplicarlas en el proyecto. Por este motivo, se realiza la identificación de estas estrategias adaptadas en obras arquitectónicas del siglo XX y XXI que han tenido en cuenta la arquitectura anónima. El programa escogido es de vivienda unifamiliar y su ubicación es en Galicia, en el núcleo rural de Fraga, perteneciente a la parroquia de A Picoña en Salceda de Caselas, Pontevedra. Debido a ello, los casos de estudio tendrán el mismo programa y su localización estará dentro del territorio gallego meridional. Se han seleccionado siete casos de estudios con el fin de realizar una comparativa de sus estrategias sostenibles y verificar las más constantes. A su vez, la comparativa también proporcionará diferentes formas de aplicar las estrategias sostenibles; información de interés debido a la posterior aplicación en el proyecto de arquitectura. Estos casos de estudios han sido analizados siguiendo la metodología del análisis multicaso. A través de la observación sistemática, análisis documental y fotografía se ha recogido la información que proporcionase la identificación de aquellas estrategias sostenibles presentes en la arquitectura vernácula, utilizadas en dichos casos. Para ello, también fue necesario recurrir al método Versus (Vernacular Heritage to Sustainable Architecture) y su análisis de los tres ámbitos sostenibles, así como, los principios y las estrategias incluidos en cada uno de ellos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: It is possible to look back and observe how, in several times of the history, the vernacular architecture, has been a source of inspiration for great architects. From this architecture, they have taken advantage of what best suits to the moment needs. Nowadays, we find that need in the pursuit of the sustainability. The objective is to achieve an architecture linked to satisfy the present needs but without compromising the future ones. Several authors uphold the capacity of the vernacular architecture to inspire a new and more reasonable architecture. An architecture more sustainable, while remaining contemporaneous. The sustainability includes three aspects: environmental, cultural and economic; and a combination of these three aspects is the purpose to achieve with this dissertation. The aim of this dissertation is to identify sustainable strategies present in the vernacular architecture which can be adapted to the architectural needs of nowadays, to later be applied in the project. For this reason, several sustainable strategies, present in the vernacular architecture and adapted to architectural buildings for residential purposes during XX and XXI centuries, have been identified. These strategies have been implemented through the design of a single-family house in Galicia, placed in Fraga, a small village belonging to A Picoña, a parish of the Salceda de Caselas council, Pontevedra. Taking this into account, the case studies will have the same single-family house concept and their location will be over the Galician territory classified as “meridional”. Seven dwellings have been selected with the aim of comparing their sustainable strategies and distinguishing the most constant ones. This comparison will also provide different ways to apply the sustainable strategies, interesting information for the later application of these strategies in the architectural project. These case studies have been analyzed following the methodology of multicase analysis. This analysis is carried out through systematic observation, documentary analysis and photography. The aim is to collect the information needed to identify the sustainable strategies present in the vernacular architecture. It has been also necessary to use the Versus method (Vernacular Heritage to Sustainable Architecture) and its analysis of the three sustainable areas, as well as, the principles and strategies used in each of them. | pt_PT |
