Abstract(s)
Introdução: Portugal apresenta um envelhecimento demográfico. O envelhecimento
fundamental. A scoping review realizada evidencia a necessidade de conhecer as
suas necessidades de apoio. O Enfermeiro tem conhecimento para identificar as
necessidades individuais/comunidade, planear e desenvolver intervenções (Ordem
Conclusão: A implementação deste projeto permitiu adquirir competências inerentes
ao Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Comunitária e Grau de Mestre. Embora
Introduction: Portugal has an aging population. Aging causes changes in individual abilities, which can lead to situations of dependency and the need for a caregiver. The informal caregiver has a fundamental role. The scoping review carried out highlights the need to know your support needs. Nurses have the knowledge to identify individual/community needs, plan and develop interventions (Ordem dos Enfermeiros, 2012). Objective: Contribute to the increase of knowledge of informal caregivers under the law of support and available support. Methodology: The Health Planning methodology was implemented (Imperatori & Giraldes, 1993), a situation diagnosis was carried out, integrating 10 informal caregivers, and the identified problems were prioritized. The theoretical model of Health Promotion by Pender, Murdaugh & Parsons (2015) was adopted, and Health Education and Health Marketing strategies were planned and implemented. Results: In the sample of informal caregivers, 90% do not know the support law and 70% do not know the available support. The nursing diagnosis “Knowledge about the law of support and available support compromised in informal caregivers of the Personalized Health Care Unit (UCSP) P” was carried out, and the appropriate interventions and their evaluation were carried out. Conclusion: The implementation of this project allowed the acquisition of skills inherent to the Specialist Nurse in Community Nursing and Master's Degree. Although the community intervention performed was brief, not allowing for the assessment of knowledge, it was positively evaluated by informal caregivers. I believe I have contributed to their empowerment
