O Tiro de Artilharia de Campanha. Requisitos ao nível da Formação, do Treino Operacional e das Infraestruturas

| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar a formação de tiro de Artilharia de Campanha ministrada na Academia Militar e estudar se a mesma é suficiente para garantir que um futuro Oficial Subalterno de Artilharia obtenha todas as competências necessárias para o desempenho das suas futuras funções. Com a implementação da Declaração de Bolonha no Ensino Superior em Portugal, surgiu a oportunidade de reformar o mesmo, adequando-o às novas realidades. O Ensino Superior Militar, sendo um subsetor do Ensino Superior em Portugal, criou condições para que Bolonha fosse implementada também na Academia Militar, levando a uma reestruturação nos seus cursos. Para abordar o tema proposto iremos analisar, também, as infraestruturas utilizadas para a realização do tiro de Artilharia de Campanha em Portugal, que constituem o suporte físico indispensável à formação dos futuros oficiais de Artilharia neste domínio. Este trabalho é essencial para perceber se a reestruturação implementada responde aos requisitos de desempenho exigidos ao futuro Oficial Subalterno de Artilharia, que termina a frequência da Academia Militar e se prepara para desempenhar funções no âmbito da Arma. Atendendo à escassez de investigação sobre esta temática, consideramos ser essencial, numa primeira fase, obter elementos inerentes ao ensino ministrado na Academia Militar, para percebermos a estrutura e conteúdo programático relativos à formação de Tiro de Artilharia de Campanha, e numa segunda fase, visitarmos os Polígonos de Tiro de Vendas Novas e do Campo de Tiro de Santa Margarida, de modo a analisarmos as possibilidades e limitações dos mesmos. Para complementar este trabalho, consideramos fundamental a realização de entrevistas a Oficiais que, tanto na altura da reestruturação como atualmente, tiveram um contributo relevante na formação dos futuros Oficiais de Artilharia. Embora a implementação da Declaração de Bolonha, na Academia Militar, possibilite agora que um aluno termine a sua frequência com o grau de mestre, a consequente reestruturação dos cursos trouxe significativas restrições no que respeita aos tempos escolares atribuídos à formação no tiro de Artilharia de Campanha. Concorrentemente, iremos ainda estudar a adequação dos atuais Polígonos de Tiro da Escola Prática de Artilharia e do Campo Militar de Santa Margarida, no que respeita à execução de Exercícios de Fogos Reais, essenciais à consolidação e validação das matérias ministradas no âmbito do tiro de Artilharia de Campanha, e que poderão condicionar a formação dos futuros Oficiais Subalternos de Artilharia. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract The aim of this paper is to analyze the training in Field Artillery Gunnery, taught at the Military Academy, and to conclude if this type of training is enough to ensure that a future Artillery Officer will have all the necessary skills to carry out his duties. Along with the implementation of the Bologna process in higher education in Portugal, came the opportunity to restructuring that educational level by adapting it to the new reality. The military higher education, a subsector of the Portuguese Higher Education system, created the necessary conditions to implement the Bologna process at the Military Academy which led to a restructuring of its courses. To present this subject we will also analyze the facilities used to carry out shooting training of Field Artillery in Portugal which reveals itself as an important tool in the training of future Artillery officers. This work is essential to realize if the implemented restructuring of the courses is crucial for the future Officer who is finishing his frequency at the Military Academy and prepares himself to perform his functions as an Officer of the Artillery Branch. Since there is little research on this topic, we consider vital, in first phase, to obtain data about the instruction conducted at Military Academy to realize how the training in Field Artillery Gunnery is conducted, and, in a second phase, to visit the firing ranges of Vendas Novas and Santa Margarida, in order to analyze the possibilities and limitations of those facilities. To complement this work, we consider fundamental to conduct interviews with Officers who played an important role and who gave a major contribution in training future Officers, both during the restructuring process and at present. The implementation of the Bologna Declaration in the Military Academy made possible for a student to finish his studies and obtain a master degree; however, the restructuring program also brought restrictions regarding the time available for the training in Field Artillery Gunnery. We will also study whether or not the firing range of the Artillery School and Military Camp of Santa Margarida are adequate regarding Live Firing Exercises which are essential to the consolidation and validation of Gunnery teaching, which could limit the training of future Officers of Artillery. | por |
