O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do 3º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, da Escola Superior de Enfermagem São José de Cluny, ano lectivo 2018-2020 e visa a obtenção do grau de Mestre. O grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica é atribuído a quem tenha conhecimentos aprofundados e especializados na sua área de atuação e demonstre níveis elevados de julgamento clínico e tomada de decisão refletida e fundamentada na mais recente evidência científica.
Pretendo com este relatório descrever o percurso ensino-aprendizagem de aquisição de competências de Mestre no Cuidar de Pessoas e/ou Famílias em Situação Crítica por Queimadura, desenvolvidas a partir dos ensinos clínicos: Serviço de Urgência do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça e Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos de Queimados, do Centro Hospitalar do São João. Contribuíram para a consolidação das competências adquiridas o Regulamento n.º 140/2019 relativo às Competências Comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista e o Regulamento n.º 429/2018 referente às Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica.
A pessoa em situação crítica por queimadura e a sua família exige cuidados de enfermagem altamente qualificados e prestados de forma contínua a fim de manter as funções básicas de vida, prevenir complicações e limitar incapacidades tendo em vista a sua recuperação total (OE, 2017).
O enfermeiro especialista valoriza as experiências que contribuem no processo de construção do conhecimento e reconhece a importância dos projetos de autoformação na sua formação pessoal e profissional e busca alcançar a excelência dos cuidados através de uma prática competente e assertiva fundamentada nos princípios ético-deontológicos e principais referenciais da profissão de Enfermagem.
This report was prepared in the framework of the 3rd Master's Course in Medical-Surgical Nursing, of the São José de Cluny School of Nursing, academic year 2018-2020 and aims to obtain the Master's degree. The Master's degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing is awarded to those who have in-depth and specialized knowledge in their area of activity and demonstrate high levels of clinical judgment and decision-making reflected and based on the latest scientific evidence. I intend with this report to describe the teaching-learning path of master skills acquisition in the Care of People and/or Families in Critical Situation by Burns, developed from the clinical teachings: Emergency Service of the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital and Intensive Care Unit of Burns, of the Hospital Center of São João. The Regulation No. 140/2019 on the Common Competencies of specialist nurses and Regulation No. 429/2018 on the Specific Competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing contributed to the consolidation of the acquired competencies. The person in critical burn situation and his family requires highly qualified nursing care and provided continuously in order to maintain basic functions of life, preventing complications and limiting disabilities in view of their total recovery. (OE, 2017) The specialist nurse values the experiences that contribute to the process of knowledge construction and recognizes the importance of self-training projects in their personal and professional training and seeks to achieve excellence in care through a competent and assertive practice based on the ethical-deontological principles and main references of the nursing profession.
