O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na
área da Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica, integrado no percurso formativo
desenvolvido na Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto. Este documento incide sobre a
Unidade Curricular “Estágio de natureza Profissional com relatório”, evidenciando o processo de
aquisição e desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas, do Enfermeiro Especialista
na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica, conforme os regulamentos da Ordem dos
Enfermeiros (Regulamentos nº 140/2019 e nº429/2018).
O estágio de natureza profissional desenvolvido ao longo do módulo I e II, teve como principal
objetivo o desenvolvimento de competências clínicas especializadas, com particular enfoque na
assistência à pessoa em situação crítica sujeita a transporte inter-hospitalar.
O processo de desenvolvimento de competências revelou-se dinâmico e sustentado na
continuidade dos diferentes contextos, permitindo várias oportunidades de aprendizagem. O
estágio decorreu em três cenários clínicos diferentes: a Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos
Coronários, o Serviço de Urgência e a Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalente. Estes
enquadramentos permitiram a aplicação dos conteúdos abordados nas unidades curriculares
teóricas, a procura constante da evidência mais atual para uma melhoria da qualidade dos
cuidados e o desenvolvimento de cuidados especializados, tendo em atenção a prevenção de
complicações e a segurança do doente.
Este relatório encontra-se estruturado em três partes, as quais refletem, entre outros aspetos
relevantes, o percurso do desenvolvimento do projeto delineado no módulo I. A primeira parte
contempla a caracterização dos contextos clínicos, na segunda parte é apresentado um estudo
de caso clínico, nomeadamente o processo de tomada de decisão e fundamentação teórica e a
terceira parte traduz o processo de desenvolvimento das competências comuns e específicas,
com base num pensamento crítico-reflexivo.
A elaboração deste relatório foi fundamentada com a utilização da plataforma pedagógica da
Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto, a “e4nursing”.
This report was drawn up as part of the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the area of Nursing for Pacient in Critical Situations, which is part of the training programme developed at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto. This document focuses on the Curricular Units “Clinical Placement report”, highlighting the process of acquiring and developing the common and specific competences of the Specialist Nurse in the area of Critical Care Nursing, in accordance with the regulations of the Ordem dos Enfermeiros (Regulations nº 140/2019 and nº 429/2018). The main objective of the professional internship, which took place during modules I and II, was to develop specialized clinical skills, with a particular focus on assisting pacient in critical situations who are subject to inter-hospitalar transport. The process of developing competences proved to be dynamic and sustained by the continuity of the different contexts, allowing for various learning opportunities. The internship took place in three different clinical settings: the Coronary Intensive Care Unit, the Emergency Department and the Multipurpose Intensive Care Unit. These settings allowed for the application of the content covered in the theoretical curricular units, the constant search for the most up-to-date evidence to improve the quality of care and the development of specialized care, taking into account the prevention of complications. This report is structured in three parts, which reflect, among other relevant aspects, the development of the project outlined in module I. The first part characterizes the clinical contexts; the second part presents a clinical case study, namely the decision-making process of developing commom and specific skills, based on critical-reflective thinking. The preparation of this report was based on the use of the pedagogical platform of the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto, “e4nursing”.
