Abstract(s)
Embora a motivação dos trabalhadores para o trabalho seja um tema vasto e complexo, jĆ” estudado por muitos, continua a ser um tema de relevo e de grande interesse. Segundo Alcobia (2001), hĆ” imensas razƵes que justificam este interesse, tanto na perspetiva do indivĆduo (dado que resulta de aspetos como o respeito, o bem-estar e a saĆŗde psicológica), como na perspetiva organizacional (tendo em conta que pode influenciar o funcionamento da organização contribuir para o aumento da produtividade).
O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar os fatores que motivam e/ou satisfazem os trabalhadores numa autarquia local e como objetivos especĆficos, primeiro analisar a satisfação do trabalho, nomeadamente a satisfação com o conteĆŗdo e as condiƧƵes de trabalho, segundo analisar as caracterĆsticas sociodemogrĆ”ficas dos trabalhadores e por Ćŗltimo saber o grau de importĆ¢ncia atribuĆda pelos trabalhadores aos fatores do contexto laboral.
Em termos metodológicos, recorreu-se ao estudo de caso. O caso escolhido foi uma autarquia no Alto Alentejo, distrito de Ćvora, concelho de Reguengos de Monsaraz.
Foram utilizadas vÔrias técnicas de recolha de dados, nomeadamente a triangulação de informação contemplada na metodologia estudo de caso, como o inquérito por questionÔrio aplicado aos trabalhadores da Câmara Municipal, a anÔlise documental que incluiu o Balanço Social do ano 2011 e a observação participante.
Dos resultados obtidos identificĆ”mos trĆŖs fatores relativos Ć s dimensƵes percecionadas pelos trabalhadores. No geral, o nĆvel de satisfação dos trabalhadores com o trabalho Ć© positivo, salientando-se a satisfação com a situação de trabalho que se encontra acima da mĆ©dia global.
Constatou-se que a satisfação no trabalho Ć© condicionada pelas caracterĆsticas sociogrĆ”ficas dos trabalhadores, como sejam, a idade, o sexo, o vĆnculo, a escolaridade e a antiguidade na entidade.

According Alcobia (2001), there are plenty of reasons for this interest, both from the perspective of the individual (as a result of aspects such as respect, well-being and psychological health), as the organizational perspective (taking into account that may influence the functioning of the organization contributing to the productivity increase). The present study aimed to examine the factors that motivate and / or satisfy the workers of a local municipality. As specific objectives: first the analysis of job satisfaction, namely the satisfaction with the content and working conditions; second analyzing the sociodemographic characteristics of workers; and finally learn the degree of importance attached by workers to the labor context factors. The case study was the used methodology. The case chosen was a municipality at the Alto Alentejo, Ćvora district, municipality of Reguengos Monsaraz. It were used various techniques of data collection, namely triangulation of information covered in the case study methodology, as the survey questionnaire administered to employees of the Municipality, the documentary analysis that included the Social Balance of 2011 and participant observation⦠From the obtained results were identified three factors relating to the dimensions perceived by workers. Overall, the level of employee satisfaction with work is positive, emphasizing satisfaction with work situation that is above the global average. It was found that job satisfaction is conditioned by sociographic characteristics of workers, such as age, sex, relationship, education and seniority in the organization.
