O tráfico e consumo de estupefacientes na comunidade escolar são um problema
que se tem vindo a deflagrar na nossa sociedade no decorrer dos tempos apresentando, nos dias de hoje, grande visibilidade e exposição social.
Neste contexto, desenvolve-se um estudo com o propósito de averiguar o papel que
a GNR desempenha no combate ao tráfico e ao consumode estupefacientes na comunidade
escolar de Santo Tirso.
O presente RCFTIA inicia-se com uma componente teórica, fundamentada numa
investigação documental de textos, livros, internet e legislação, seguida do trabalho de campo, que se traduziu na realização de entrevistas a pessoas que ocupam uma posição privilegiada, auscultando assim, diferentes realidades no que diz respeito à intervenção nesta área.
No decorrer da investigação concluiu-se que a GNR, consciencializada da
importância do seu papel no combate a este flagelo,leva a cabo uma série de ações que são fundamentais para informar a comunidade escolar, e que juntamente com outras entidades contribuem para uma dissuasão do tráfico e consumo de estupefacientes na comunidade escolar de Santo Tirso.
Abstract Throughout the years, the trafficking and consumption of illegal drugs at schools have registered some growth, and nowadays has a great social visibility and display. With this context in mind, this study seeks to inquire what is the role of GNR in the fight against trafficking and consumption of illegal drugs in schools at Santo Tirso. The present Report begins with the theoretical framework, grounded in the documental research of books, texts, internet and legal documents. It is followed by a case study, that comprised interviews with individuals with an outstanding position in society. Those interviews have shown different points of view regarding the issue being studied. One can conclude that GNR is aware of its key role in the fight against trafficking and consumption of illegal drugs and performs several actions that are fundamental to inform the school community. GNR, working together with other entities, contributes to the dissuasion of the trafficking and consumption of illegal drugs in schools at Santo Tirso.
