Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar o impacto do comprometimento organizacional na relação entre as práticas de gestão de recursos humanos (PGRH) e a satisfação laboral. Com a globalização, o avanço tecnológico e o recente contexto da pandemia, a forma como é encarada a GRH mudou particularmente e, consequentemente, as suas PGRH também. Por outro lado, o comprometimento dos colaboradores e a sua satisfação para com a organização tiveram um impacto muito
grande, pois os colaboradores começaram a valorizar mais estes temas. A recolha de dados foi efetuada através de uma metodologia de natureza quantitativa, com recurso a questionário. Contou com uma amostra de 132 participantes, de diferentes funções, de uma empresa do setor da restauração. Os resultados apurados indicam que as PGRH impactam na Satisfação Laboral e no Comprometimento, e o Comprometimento impacta na Satisfação Laboral. Estes resultados têm o potencial de contribuir para a implementação de políticas mais eficientes e eficazes para a organização.

With globalization, technological advancements, and the recent pandemic context, the approach to HRM has particularly changed, and consequently, so have its HR practices. On the other hand, employees' commitment and their satisfaction with the organization have had a significant impact, as employees began to value these aspects more highly. Data collection was carried out using a quantitative methodology, employing a questionnaire. The sample consisted of 132 participants from different roles within the restoration company, in the restaurant sector. The results indicate that HR practices impact Job Satisfaction and Commitment, and Commitment impacts Job Satisfaction. These findings have the potential to contribute to the implementation of more efficient and effective policies for the organization.
