dc.description.abstract	O brincar é considerado como uma atividade vital no desenvolvimento saudável das crianças pequenas, fundamental no dia-a-dia de qualquer uma. Desta forma, é necessário assegurar experiências que sejam diversificadas, desafiantes e de qualidade. Para isto, é indispensável mencionar a seleção de materiais oferecidos às crianças. Deve fazer parte desta seleção materiais não estruturados, que potencializem a imaginação e criem diversas oportunidades de brincadeira. Pelos fatores mencionados anteriormente, e pela curiosidade de explorar a abordagem Brincar Heurístico e a temática materiais não estruturados, surgiu a investigação que dá base ao presente Relatório, com o objetivo de explorar as potencialidades dos materiais não estruturados no desenvolvimento de crianças de Creche. Neste sentido, numa perspetiva metodológica, o presente estudo foi desenvolvido segundo uma metodologia de investigação com cariz qualitativo, realizado em creche, com uma amostra de cinco crianças de dois e três anos de idade. Os dados foram recolhidos através de observação participante, registo videográfico e fotográfico, assim como tabelas de observação, referentes às atitudes, comportamentos, e bemestar e implicação das crianças face aos materiais e ambiente em que estão inseridas. A análise dos dados permitiu compreender que a exploração deste tipo de materiais potencializa o desenvolvimento global e a aquisição de aprendizagens significativas, uma vez que, quanto mais diversificada e estimulante for a oferta dos materiais de fim aberto, maiores são as oportunidades de exploração e de desenvolvimento da criança.	por
dc.description.abstract	Play is considered a vital activity for the healthy development of young children, essential in their daily lives. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure experiences that are diverse, challenging, and of high quality. In this context, the selection of materials offered to children becomes indispensable. This selection should include unstructured materials, which enhance imagination and create various opportunities for play. Based on the factors mentioned above and driven by the curiosity to explore the Heuristic Play approach and the theme of unstructured materials, the investigation supporting this report was developed with the aim of exploring the potential of unstructured materials in the development of nursery children. From a methodological perspective, this study adopted a qualitative research approach conducted in a nursery setting with a sample of five children aged two and three years. The data was collected through participant observation, video and photographic recordings, as well as observation tables, focusing on values related to children’s attitudes, behaviors, and wellbeing in relation to the materials and the environment in which they were immersed. Data analysis revealed that the exploration of this type of material enhances overall development and the acquisition of meaningful learning. The findings indicate that the more diverse and stimulating the range of materials offered, the greater the opportunities for exploration, which in turn promote the development of various areas of a child's growth.	por
