Abstract(s)
O setor vitivinĆcola em Portugal Ć© muito importante, uma vez que inĆŗmeros vinhos Portugueses chegam a todo o mundo, sendo os vinhos da RegiĆ£o Alentejana conhecidos nacional e internacionalmente pela sua elevada qualidade, sendo lĆderes de mercado em Portugal.
Com o aumento das preocupaƧƵes ambientais em todo o mundo e com a criação de vĆ”rios programas de sustentabilidade para o setor vitivinĆcola em vĆ”rios paĆses do āNovo Mundoā, a sustentabilidade chegou assim ao setor do vinho alentejano, com a criação do Programa de Sustentabilidade dos Vinhos do Alentejo, criado pela ComissĆ£o VitivinĆcola Regional Alentejana em 2014.
Este programa tem como objetivo aumentar a sustentabilidade vitivinicultura alentejana, e desta forma promover prÔticas culturais mais sustentÔveis, um melhor aproveitamento dos recursos, reduzindo assim custos de produção e fornecendo aos consumidores produtos com garantia de qualidade e sustentabilidade.
O objetivo do presente trabalho é a implementação do Programa de Sustentabilidade dos Vinhos do Alentejo na Herdade da Cardeira, em Borba, na vertente Viticultura & Adega.
Após realização da autoavaliação dos capĆtulos de intervenção primĆ”ria do programa e efetuada a anĆ”lise dos resultados obtidos atravĆ©s de uma verificação interna Ć herdade, obteve-se uma pontuação de 2.8 o que corresponde Ć categoria IntermĆ©dio.
Foram assim elaborados e propostos vÔrios planos de ação, com intuito de aumentar a sustentabilidade da Herdade da Cardeira, e consequentemente, a pontuação obtida, levando à obtenção da categoria Desenvolvido e a uma certificação do programa que irÔ permitir a distinguir os vinhos da Herdade da Cardeira nacional e internacionalmente
The wine sector in Portugal is very important as Portuguese wines, namely the wines from Alentejo, are nationally and internationally known for their high quality, being market leaders in Portugal. With the increase of environmental concerns all over the world and the creation of sustainability programs for the wine sector in several āNew Worldā countries, sustainability has reached the Alentejo wine sector, with the creation of the Wines from Alentejo Sustainability Programme created by the Regional Wine Comission of Alentejo in 2014. This plan aims to increase the sustainability of the wine industry in Alentejo, to promote more sustainable cultural practices, better use of resources, reducing producing costs and providing consumers with products with quality and sustainability assurances. The objective of the present work is the implementation of Wines from Alentejo Sustainability Programme in Herdade da Cardeira, in Borba, in the Viticulture & Winery area. After performing evaluation of the primary intervention chapters of the program and analyzing the results obtained through an internal verification, a score of 2.8 was obtained, which corresponds to the Intermediate category. A set of plans of action have been elaborated and proposed to increase the sustainability of Herdade da Cardeira, and consequently, the score obtained, leading to the Developed category and to a certification of the program that will allow to distinguish the wines of Herdade da Cardeira nationally and internationally.
