Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito do 5º Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica: Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica, lecionado na Escola Superior de Enfermagem de São José de Cluny, no ano letivo 2021-2022 e a sua elaboração e discussão pública visam a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica. Tendo pressuposto a análise e reflexão fundamentada das experiências e atividades vivenciadas ao longo dos ensinos clínicos, demonstra o percurso para o desenvolvimento e consolidação de competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na Área da Pessoa em Situação Crítica, assim como as competências de mestre emergentes, com especial enfoque no cuidar da pessoa em situação neurocrítica.
Enfatiza assim os processos de ensino aprendizagem associados ao Ensino Clínico I, que decorreu no Serviço de Urgência Polivalente do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, ao Ensino Clínico II e Estágio com Relatório, Módulo 1, realizados na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalente do Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, bem como, ao Módulo 2 do Estágio com Relatório - Opção Clínica, ocorrido na Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Polivalente do Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto.
O processo reflexivo sobre a prática de enfermagem na abordagem da pessoa em situação neurocrítica, insurge-se pela necessidade de criação de linhas de pensamento e sistematização para a profissão com recurso a uma metodologia descritiva, analítica e reflexiva, fundamentada na evidência científica que incorpora as melhores práticas e os referenciais da profissão.
Organizado em três capítulos, enfatiza, no primeiro e segundo capítulos, o desenvolvimento de competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista nos seus quatro domínios de intervenção (Regulamento nº140/2019), competências específicas no cuidar da pessoa em situação crítica (Regulamento nº429/2018) em particular, o cuidado da pessoa, família a vivenciar processos complexos de doença crítica e/ou falência neurocrítia. No terceiro capítulo, o cuidado especializado face à complexidade da situação e à necessidade de respostas adequadas em tempo útil das pessoas a vivenciar situações de afeção neurocrítia, de um modo sistematizado serve de mote para a demonstração das competências de Mestre em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica adquiridas neste percurso formativo.
The present report appears within the scope of de 5th master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing: Nursing to the Person in Critical Situation, taught at Escola de Enfermagem Superior São José de Cluny, in the academic year 2021-2022 and its elaboration and public discussion aim to obtain the degree of Master’s in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Its presupposition is the analysis and grounded reflection of the experiences and activities lived throughout the internships, demonstrating the path for the development and consolidation of common and specific competencies of the Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical, in the branch of the Person in Critical Situation, as well as the emerging master competencies, with the special focus on caring for the person in neurocritical situation. It emphasizes the teaching-learning processes associated with Clinical Teaching I which took place in the Emergency Service of the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça, to the Clinical Teaching II and Internship with Report, Module I, carried out in Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and to Module II of the Internship with Report - Clinical Option, occurred in the Intensive Care Unit of Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto. The reflective process on nursing practice in the approach of the person in a neurocritical situation arises from the need to create lines of thought and systematization based on evidence for the profession using a descriptive, analytical, and reflective methodology, based on scientific evidence that incorporates the best practices and references of the profession. Organized in three chapters, it emphasizes, in the first and second chapters, the development of common competencies of the specialist nurse in its four domains of intervention (Regulation nº 140/2019), specific competencies in caring for the person in critical situation (Regulation nº 429/2018) in particular, care of the person, family experiencing complex processes of critical illness and/or neurocritical failure. In the third chapter, specialized care in view of the complexity of the situation and the need for adequate responses in a timely manner for people experiencing situations of neurocritical affection, in a systematized way, serves as a motto for the demonstrating of the competencies of master’s in medical-Surgical Nursing acquired in this formative path.
