Abstract(s)
O projeto de investigação intitulado “A Expressão Gráfico-Plástica em Creche e Jardim de Infância”, tem como objetivo compreender a importância da expressão gráfico-plástica no desenvolvimento da criança, qual o papel do Educador para a sua valorização e como aplicam a área das expressões na construção do currículo, como atividades fundamentais para o desenvolvimento da criança entre os 12 meses e os 6 anos.
O projeto teve como principal objetivo averiguar as práticas que as Educadoras Cooperantes têm relativamente à expressão gráfico-plástica, uma vez que nos contextos de Creche e Jardim de Infância verificaram-se algumas práticas que mereciam reflexão. Desta forma é dado a conhecer os pressupostos teóricos da investigação, articulando com a prática experienciada em cada contexto de estágio. Resta salientar que os dois contextos de estágio foram realizados em locais distintos e verificou-se que a problemática era transversal a esses mesmos contextos. Assim, durante os dois momentos de estágio, foram recolhidas informações e realizadas intervenções, de forma a compreender as dinâmicas e as práticas das Educadoras Cooperantes, com posterior síntese crítica e reflexiva.
Este projeto de investigação tem como base a metodologia qualitativa de investigação-ação, incidindo no paradigma interpretativo, uma vez que procura entender um caso, de acordo com as motivações, necessidades e comportamento dos participantes. Deste modo, este tipo de investigação pretende indagar os procedimentos de análise e interpretar as informações recolhidas em contexto de Creche e de Jardim de Infância. Na realização do projeto foram utilizados dispositivos e procedimentos de recolha de informação, nomeadamente a observação participante com recurso ao registo escrito (notas de campo), registo fotográfico e análise documental.
“The graphic-plastic expression in a Nursery and Kindergarten” research project serves the purpose of understanding the importance of the graphic-plastic expression in a child’s upbringing, what role the Educator should assume in the child’s enhancement and how the field of expressions is applied in the making of the curriculum as a key activity for the development of children aged between 12 months and 6 years. The project had as a primary objective to check on the practises taken by the Cooperating Educators concerning the graphic-plastic expression, as in a nursery and kindergarten context some situations have occurred which deserved a reflection. So, the theoretical principles of the investigation are shown, alongside and combining with the practices experienced at every stage of the internships. One must also stress that both internships were held in two different places and it was verified that the issue was transverse to both of them. Therefore, data has been gathered and interventions have been conducted during the two internships in order to understand the dynamics and the practises adopted by the Cooperating Educators, leading to a subsequent critical and reflective synthesis. This research project is based on the Action-Research qualitative methodology and focuses on the interpretative paradigm, as it seeks to understand a case by the participants’ motivations, needs and behaviour. Thus, this type of research aims to investigate the analysis procedures and interpret the information collected in the context of Nursery and Kindergarten. Some devices and data-gathering procedures have been used in the making of this project, namely the active observation with the complement of written record (fieldnotes), photos and documental analysis.
