Uma determinada cultura resulta de características e objetos que podem ser considerados símbolos culturais, o que firma sua identidade. Assim, tudo aquilo que é produzido por uma vertente do design, passa a ter a cultura material de uma determinada região.
No presente Projeto, pretende-se valorizar um ícone da cultura local, através de um envolvimento socioeconómico de toda a comunidade de Los Roques, promovendo e divulgando os seus símbolos e hábitos culturais. Será desenvolvido um modelo/protótipo de um jogo de tabuleiro, que representa a sua cultura iconográfica e transmite os seus hábitos e costumes. Visa-se com o protótipo desenvolvido proporcionar benefícios socioecónomicos para a comunidade.
A given culture results from characteristics and objects that can be considered cultural symbols, which establishes its identity. Thus, everything that is produced by a strand of design, has the material culture of a given region. In the present dissertation, it is intended to value an icon of the local culture, through a socio-economic involvement of the entire Los Roques community, promoting and disseminating its cultural symbols and habits. A model / prototype will be developed that represents its iconographic culture, its habits and customs, providing benefits to the community.
