| dc.description.abstract | O ambiente operacional é caracterizado por guerras híbridas com elevados desafios ao emprego de forças militares. Numa visão estratégica de futuro, a NATO emitiu novas diretivas para serem efetuadas modernizações com o objetivo de enfrentar este tipo de ameaça. Com a premissa de Portugal poder ter de garantir dois Batalhões de Infantaria Médio torna-se importante acompanhar estas alterações de acordo com a realidade nacional. A visão apresentada neste trabalho suporta-se em documentação nacional e internacional, mas essencialmente em entrevistas a comandantes, especialistas nacionais e internacionais, garantindo-se diferentes opiniões e saberes. Analisada a ameaça híbrida, as imposições NATO, as lições aprendidas em exercícios e empenhamentos internacionais por forças nacionais, bem como das unidades similares em países NATO, no final deste trabalho são apresentadas 62 propostas a implementar nos Batalhões de Infantaria Mecanizado Rodas, vertidas em três modalidades de ação a implementar até 2030, com vista a melhorar a capacidade operacional dos Batalhões de Infantaria Médio Portugueses. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The operational environment is characterized by hybrid wars with high challenges to the employment of military forces. In a strategic vision of the future, NATO has issued new directives for its modernization in order to tackle this type of threat. With the prerogative of Portugal guaranteeing two Medium Infantry Battalions, it is important to accompany these changes according to the national reality. The vision described in this work is supported by national and international documentation, but essentially on interviews with commanders, national and international specialists, guaranteeing different opinions and knowledge. Analyzing the hybrid threat, NATO impositions, lessons learned in international exercises and national forces commitments, as well a similar unit in NATO countries, at the end of this work, we propose 62 measures to be implemented in the Mechanized Wheels Infantry Battalions, poured into three courses of action to be implemented until 2030, with the aim to improve the operational capacity of Portuguese Medium Infantry Battalions. | pt_PT |
