Desde muito cedo que os eventos e o turismo apresentam uma ligação muito próxima e de grande importância a nível económico, social e cultural devido ao aumento da realização de eventos e do desenvolvimento do fenómeno turístico.
Neste estudo estudou-se o papel das atividades de team building realizadas pelas empresas de animação turística e o impacto que este tipo de evento tem nas organizações que as procuram em busca da melhoria da performance das equipas e da melhoria das relações interpessoais dos seus colaboradores.
Apesar de o team building poder ser desenvolvido em espaços abertos e fechados, neste caso estudou-se a mais valia destas atividades em espaços outdoor, pretendeu-se apurar se de facto a relação entre o homem e a natureza pode contribuir para a melhoria das suas relações a nível profissional e pessoal.
Este estudo contribuiu para o conhecimento e valorização da oferta de atividades e eventos de team building no contexto da oferta das empresas de animação turística e de eventos, para o qual foram entrevistadas nove empresas em que duas delas foi possível observar presencialmente atividades que se realizaram dentro do contexto de team building para outras organizações.
Concluiu-se que cada vez mais as organizações recorrem às empresas de animação turística e de eventos para realizar atividades de team building para os seus colaboradores. A procura tem vindo a aumentar ao longo do tempo e logo por consequência a oferta tem vindo a aumentar também, existindo uma necessidade cada vez mais observável da constante inovação e diferenciação de serviços que as empresas oferecem às organizações. Por fim, o facto de estas se realizarem em espaços outdoor com o contacto direto com a natureza são uma mais valia para as organizações pois estimula o indivíduo e proporciona experiências diferentes que o motivam para e na sua ação profissional, tal como contribui para a melhoria das relações entre os membros das equipas de trabalho.
Since very early events and tourism have a very close connection and they have a great economic, social and cultural importance due to the increase of events and the development of tourism. This dissertation talks about the role of team building activities carried out by tourism companies and the impact that this type of event has on organizations that seek them in order to improve team performance and improve the interpersonal relationships of their employees. Although team building can be developed in indoor and outdoor spaces, in this case it was studied the value of these activities in outdoor spaces, it was tried to ascertain if in fact the relationship between man and the nature can contribute to the improvement of his professional and personal relationships. This study contributed to the knowledge and appreciation of the offer of team building activities and events in the context of the offer of tourism and event companies, to which nine companies were interviewed in which two companies it was possible to observe activities that were carried out within the context of team building for organizations. It was concluded that more and more organizations use tourism and event companies to carry out team building activities for their employees. Demand has been rising over time and therefore supply has also increased, and there is an increasingly observable need for the constant innovation and differentiation of services that companies offer to organizations. Finally, the fact that these are carried out in outdoor spaces with the direct contact with nature are an added value for the organizations because it stimulates the individual and provides different experiences that motivate him to and in his professional action as it contributes to the improvement of the relations between the members of the work teams.
