A Gestão de Processos de Negócio de uma empresa torna-se vital para o bom funcionamento e desempenho da mesma. Assistimos desde algum tempo á automação de processos no quotidiano operacional das empresas permitindo aumentar a competitividade e trazer benefícios financeiros.
As empresas de transportes públicos, todos os dias, deparam-se com o exigente processo de criação de passes personalizados para um volumoso número de diferentes clientes. Este projeto tem como objetivo permitir que estas empresas disponham de uma ferramenta que automatize parte do processo manual de criação de um passe. O resultado é um sistema que aumenta a rapidez com que o processo é executado e diminui ou praticamente elimina os erros na execução do mesmo.
Ao realizar o estudo do projeto foi executada uma modelação de processos com recurso às boas práticas do BPM, nomeadamente as suas ferramentas de modelação, que permitiu simplificar e agilizar o processo. O resultado foi o desenvolvimento de um Portal Web, o qual se intitula de Portal de Gestor de Requisições de Passe Estudante, abreviadamente Portal GRPE. Com recurso a uma metodologia Ágil, onde foram efetuadas reuniões mensais com o cliente, foi atingido o objetivo de informatizar a grande parte do processo manual e resolver a problemática.
The Business Processes Management of a company becomes vital for the proper functioning and performance of the same. For some time we have seen the automation of processes in companies daily operations, allowing them to increase competitiveness and bring financial benefits. Public transport companies, every day, are faced with the demanding process of creating custom passes for a large number of different customers. This project aims to allow these companies to have a tool that automates part of the manual process of creating a pass. The result is a system that increases the speed which the process is executed and decreases or virtually eliminates the errors of the process. Carrying out the project study, a process modelling was executed using BPM's good practices, and it’s modelling tools, which allowed to simplify and speed up the process. The result was the development of a Web Portal, which is called Portal de Gestor de Requisições de Passe Estudante, abbreviated Portal GRPE. Using an Agile methodology, where monthly meetings were held with the customer, the goal of computerizing the bulk of the manual process and solving the problem was achieved.
