Abstract(s)
do percurso formativo.
Non-traumatic pediatric care is based on a set of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions that eliminate or reduce the emotional and physical discomfort of the child and his family associated with painful procedures. Needle procedures are the most common cause of pain in sick and healthy children when they go to health institutions. At the pre-school age the fear of needles is developed and, in the future, may lead to a decrease in compliance behavior and health demand. During the internships, the project work methodology was used to promote non-traumatic care in needle procedures in pre-school children. This report intends to describe the implementation of the Intervention Project during the internships and the reflexive analysis of the development of the common and specific competences of the Child Health and Pediatric Specialist Nurse and Master during the training course.
