O presente relatório de estágio tem como objetivo descrever de forma crítica o processo de aquisição de competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica em contexto de prática clínica, bem como identificar, através de uma revisão da literatura, as necessidades das grávidas adolescentes relativamente à sua adaptação à gravidez.
Ao longo do relatório, desenvolveu-se uma análise crítico-reflexiva da metodologia aplicada nos diferentes contextos e campos de estágio, nomeadamente no internamento de grávidas com complicações, no puerpério e na sala de partos, através da discussão de casos reais, tendo como referência o Regulamento de Competências Específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica.
Paralelamente, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura com o intuito de contribuir para a melhoria contínua dos cuidados prestados a um grupo específico de clientes, as grávidas adolescentes. O objetivo consistiu em identificar as necessidades passíveis de intervenção por parte do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica no âmbito da promoção da adaptação à gravidez. As grávidas adolescentes evidenciam necessidades físicas e nutricionais, emocionais e de saúde mental, bem como de informação e preparação para a gravidez, incluindo competências parentais, trabalho de parto e desenvolvimento fetal. O Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Materna e Obstétrica é essencial para uma adaptação saudável à gravidez, contribuindo para uma transição saudável.
The present internship report aims to critically describe the process of acquiring both general and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing in a clinical practice context, as well as to identify, through a literature review, the needs of adolescent pregnant women regarding their adaptation to pregnancy. Throughout the report, a critical-reflective analysis was conducted on the methodology applied in the different contexts and fields of the internship, namely the hospitalization of pregnant women with complications, the postpartum period, and the delivery room, through the discussion of real cases, taking as reference the Regulation of Specific Competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing. In parallel, a literature review was carried out with the aim of contributing to the continuous improvement of care provided to a specific target group, adolescent pregnant women. The objective was to identify the needs that can be addressed by the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing in the promotion of adaptation to pregnancy. Adolescent pregnant women exhibit physical and nutritional, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as information and preparation needs for pregnancy, including parental competencies, labor, and fetal development. The Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing is essential for promoting a healthy adaptation to pregnancy, contributing to a positive transition.
