| dc.description.abstract | Muito já se sabe sobre as várias representações do Grotesco em inúmeras correntes artísticas, como a Arquitetura, a Pintura e o Teatro, áreas de conhecimento antigo, por muitos exploradas, por outros simplesmente apreciadas. Porém ao refletir sobre este fenómeno nas áreas criativas dirigidas aos mais novos, não existem dados concretos que identifiquem a sua existência. A presente dissertação encontra-se focada na área da Ilustração infanto-juvenil e procurou responder se existe a presença da estética grotesca nesta expressão visual para as crianças e os jovens? Como podemos detetá-la e localizá-la? Se o criador da narrativa visual está consciente dela, enquanto produz o seu trabalho? Se tenta aproximar-se desse estilo, ou se prefere afastar-se dele? Considerando estas questões, o trabalho pretendeu também perceber o porquê dessas decisões e que impacto têm na arte final de ilustradores, criativos e designers. É um trabalho que encontrou respostas importantes, para a possibilidade de se iniciar uma discussão com o intuito de preencher uma lacuna existente na Cultura Visual. É crucial dar-se continuidade à análise e crítica do Grotesco, não só enquanto estética num contexto adulto, mas como também perceber as suas evidências e sua receção pelos mais novos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Much is already known about the various representations of the Grotesque in numerous artistic currents, such as Architecture, Painting and Theater, areas of ancient knowledge, explored by many, by others simply appreciated. However, when reflecting on this phenomenon in the creative areas aimed at the youngest, there is no concrete data that identifies its existence. The present dissertation is focused on the area of Children's Illustration and sought to answer the question whether there is a presence of grotesque aesthetics in this visual expression for children and young people? How can we detect and locate it? If the creator of the visual narrative is aware of it, while producing his work? Are you trying to get closer to that style, or do you prefer to move away from it? Considering these issues, the work also intended to understand the reason for these decisions and what impact they have on the final art of illustrators, creators and designers. It is a work that found important answers, for the possibility of initiating a discussion in order to fill an existing gap in Visual Culture. It is crucial to continue the analysis and criticism of the Grotesque, not only as an aesthetic in an adult context, but also to understand its evidence and its reception by the younger ones. | pt_PT |
