| dc.description.abstract | O presente Trabalho Final de Mestrado (TFM) é resultado do trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio integrado no Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino do 1.º CEB. O estágio foi desenvolvido no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico no ano letivo 2022-2023, com 27 alunos, sendo 13 rapazes e 14 raparigas com idades compreendidas entre os 6 e os 7 anos. Sabendo da importância da Matemática para uma melhor compreensão do dia-a-dia no geral, é necessário motivar os alunos para a aprendizagem nesta área do conhecimento, desde muito cedo. Assim, o objetivo do trabalho é entender a importância que o Método de Singapura (MS) tem na aprendizagem dos conteúdos matemáticos e quais os resultados obtidos durante esse ensino e aprendizagem. Conforme se refere durante este estudo, a metodologia utilizada foi a de investigação-ação, acreditando numa ligação entre a teoria e a prática através das reflexões no desenrolar do Projeto. Segundo Fonseca (2012), a investigação-ação é uma metodologia de recolha de dados, que se insere na área das ciências sociais. Os dados foram obtidos através da observação participante, do Diário de Bordo, de registos fotográficos e das atividades individuais e em grupo dos alunos. Os resultados que surgiram, partiram do interesse dos alunos e dos temas a abordar pela professora cooperante. Construiu-se e utilizou-se materiais manipuláveis que podem ajudar a favorecer a aprendizagem da Matemática. Pode assim concluir-se, que ao longo deste TFM, existiram alguns pontos-chave no que concerne à aprendizagem dos alunos. O facto de os alunos aprenderem através do MS e dos seus materiais manipuláveis, ajuda numa melhor compreensão e raciocínio para a aprendizagem de diversos conteúdos matemáticos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This Master's Final Work (TFM) is the result of the work developed within the scope of the internship integrated into the Master's in Pre-school Education and Teaching of the 1st CEB. The internship was carried out in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in the 2022-2023 academic year, with 27 students, 13 boys and 14 girls aged between 6 and 7 years old. Knowing the importance of Mathematics for a better understanding of everyday life in general, it is necessary to motivate students to learn in this area of knowledge, from a very early age. Thus, the objective of the work is to understand the importance that the Singapore Method (MS) has in learning mathematical content and what results are obtained during this teaching and learning. As mentioned during this study, the methodology used was action research, believing in a connection between theory and practice through reflections during the course of the Project. According to Fonseca (2012), action research is a data collection methodology, which falls within the area of social sciences. The data were obtained through participant observation, the Logbook, photographic records and individual and group activities of the students. The results that emerged were based on the students' interest and the topics to be addressed by the cooperating teacher. Manipulative materials were constructed and used that can help promote the learning of Mathematics. It can therefore be concluded that throughout this TFM, there were some key points regarding student learning. The fact that students learn through the MS and its manipulative materials helps with better understanding and reasoning for learning various mathematical contents. | pt_PT |
