| dc.description.abstract | A alimentação é essencial para a sobrevivência do ser humano e o momento da refeição tem não só importância a este nível como também ao nível sociocultural. Com o intuito de se alimentar, o ser humano necessita de realizar o processo de deglutição de forma segura e eficaz de forma a receber o aporte nutricional necessário, como também de forma a proteger as vias aéreas. Existem inúmeras alterações fisiológicas e anatómicas que poderão contribuir para uma deglutição comprometida e colocar em risco a pessoa. O presente relatório apresenta como intuito descrever e evidenciar a importância da intervenção do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação na capacitação da pessoa com deglutição comprometida e ainda demonstrar os ganhos em saúde produzidos por esta intervenção. Serão também apresentadas as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do Estágio Final, que permitiram a aquisição das competências de enfermeiro especialista, Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação e de Mestre. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Nourishment is essential for the survival of the human being and the moment of the meal is not only important at this level but also at the sociocultural level. In order to eat, human beings need to carry out the swallowing process safely and effectively in order to receive the necessary nutritional care, as well as to protect the airways. There are numerous physiological and anatomical changes that can contribute to impaired swallowing and to increase the risk of complications. This report aims to describe and highlight the importance of the intervention of the Rehabilitation Nurse in training the person with impaired swallowing and also demonstrate the health gains produced by this intervention.
