Enquadramento: O presente relatório, elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio de
Natureza Profissional com Relatório – Módulo II, integrada no Curso de Mestrado em
Enfermagem de Reabilitação da Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto, materializa a
conclusão do percurso académico enquadrado no programa formativo do Enfermeiro
Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação. Intitulado “A pessoa com limpeza das vias aéreas
comprometida: Intervenção do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação -
Desenvolvimento de competências clínicas especializadas na área de Enfermagem de
Reabilitação”, este relatório tem como objetivo evidenciar as competências desenvolvidas
enquanto Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação, com particular enfoque na
área da limpeza das vias aéreas, ao longo dos diversos contextos de intervenção.
Metodologia: Utilizou-se o método descritivo-analítico, com base na exploração de conceitos e
domínios através de uma abordagem crítico-reflexiva, sustentada por evidência científica e
teorias de enfermagem emergentes. Foi desenvolvida a conceção de cuidados de um cenário
clínico de uma pessoa com compromisso da LVA em particular na pessoa com compromisso
neurológico, utilizando a Ontologia em Enfermagem, sempre que possível, e utilizando a
plataforma e4Nursing. Foram expostos os contributos para o desenvolvimento das
competências comuns e específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação
e de Mestre em Enfermagem de Reabilitação, consolidando-se ao longo dos estágios clínicos e
do conhecimento técnico-científico adquirido durante o percurso formativo.
Resultados: A realização do Estágio de Natureza Profissional com Relatório permitiu o
desenvolvimento e consolidação de competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista, assim
como as competências específicas de Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação,
com enfase na área da limpeza das vias aéreas.
Conclusão: Este relatório evidencia o processo de tomada de decisão do Enfermeiro
Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação tendo por Foco a gestão da limpeza das vias
aéreas, em particular na pessoa com compromisso neurológico. Demonstrando a eficácia e
segurança da intervenção especializada em Enfermagem de Reabilitação na otimização do
processo respiratório, promovendo a melhoria da capacidade de autocuidado, aumentando a
funcionalidade e minimizando o impacto das incapacidades, particularmente nas funções
neurológicas, respiratórias e motoras.
Context: This report, developed as part of the Curricular Unit “Professional Nature Internship with Report – Module II”, integrated into the Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Nursing at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto, represents the conclusion of the academic pathway within the educational program for the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing. Entitled "The Person with Compromised Airway Clearance: Intervention of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing – Development of Specialized Clinical Competencies in Rehabilitation Nursing", the report aims to demonstrate the competencies developed as a Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing, with a particular focus on airway clearance, across various intervention contexts. Methodology: A descriptive-analytical method was used, based on the exploration of concepts and domains through a critical-reflective approach, supported by scientific evidence and emerging nursing theories. The development of care plan for a clinical scenario involving a person with compromised airway clearance, particularly in cases of neurological impairment, using the Nursing Ontology whenever possible and the e4Nursing platform. The contributions to the development of both common and specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing and the Master’s in Rehabilitation Nursing were presented, consolidated throughout clinical internships and technical-scientific knowledge acquired during the academic pathway. Results: The completion of the Professional Nature Internship with Report enabled the development and consolidation of common competencies of the specialist nurse, as well as the specific competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing, with a focus on airway clearance. Conclusion: This report demonstrates the decision-making process of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing, focusing on airway clearance management, particularly in individuals with neurological impairment. It highlights the effectiveness and safety of specialized Rehabilitation Nursing intervention in optimizing respiratory function, enhancing self-care capacity, improving functionality, and minimizing the impact of disabilities, particularly in neurological, respiratory, and motor functions.
