| dc.description.abstract | A partir de uma amostra de conveniência realizada em duas escolas públicas do 2º e 3º ciclo do ensino básico, no distrito de Portalegre, frequentada por um grupo de alunos de etnia cigana, elaborou-se esta dissertação que enfoca os aspectos da cultura desse povo. Este trabalho tem como objectivo perceber a integração escolar dos alunos ciganos, a relação entre a cultura escolar e a cultura cigana, o que eles esperam que a escola lhes ofereça, bem como o que a escola espera deles. A escola terá que encontrar uma resposta que valorize a cultura desta minoria étnica, havendo necessidade de uma mudança nos currículos, de forma a que a escola seja encarada como um percurso com vista ao sucesso. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | From a convenience sample performed in two public schools in the 2nd and 3rd cycle of basic education in the district of Portalegre, attended by a group of students from Gypsy culture, we set this dissertation that focuses on aspects of the culture of this people. This work aims to realize the educational integration of the Gypsy students, the relationship between school culture and Gypsy culture, which they hope that the school offers them, as well as what the school expects of them. The school will have to find an answer that values the culture of this ethnic minority, requiring a change in the curriculum, so that the school is seen as a route with a view to sucess. | por |
