O presente relatório representa a caracterização do percurso formativo desenvolvido no
Mestrado em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica, na Área da Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação
Perioperatória da Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto. Este consiste na explanação do
processo crítico e reflexivo que experimentei em contexto de prática clínica, sobre a aquisição e
consolidação das competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista e específicas da área de
enfermagem à pessoa em situação perioperatória. Este percurso de estágio ocorreu numa
Unidade de Cirurgia Ambulatória, repartido entre o Bloco Operatório e a Unidade de Cuidados
Pós Anestésicos .
A par do desenvolvimento de competências, foi implementado um projeto de desenvolvimento
profissional intitulado “Padrão de documentação dos cuidados de enfermagem em cirurgia
ambulatória à pessoa submetida a salpingectomia via laparoscópica” focado na documentação
dos cuidados de enfermagem em cirurgia ambulatória na sua completude enquanto imperativo
legal e fundamental para a promoção da melhoria contínua da qualidade e segurança dos
cuidados de enfermagem. Esta documentação tem sido integrada nos sistemas de informação
em enfermagem mas mantêm-se fragilidades que comprometem a sua potencialidade como
ferramenta agregadora de valor aos cuidados de enfermagem. Assim foi desenvolvida uma
reestruturação do suporte documental à prática de enfermagem baseado na evidência mais
atual e tradutora da tomada de decisão do enfermeiro na forma intencional e sistematizada com
recurso à Ontologia de Enfermagem e à CIPE®.
This report represents the characterization of the training path developed in the Master's Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, in the Area of Nursing for the Person in Perioperative Situation at the Porto School of Nursing. This consists of explaining the critical and reflective process that I experienced in the context of clinical practice, on the acquisition and consolidation of common skills of the specialist nurse and specific to the area of nursing for the person in a perioperative situation. This internship took place in an Outpatient Surgery Unit, divided between the Surgical Center and the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit. Alongside the development of skills, a professional development project entitled “ Nursing care documentation standard in outpatient surgery for the person undergoing laparoscopic salpingectomy” was implemented, focusing on the documentation of nursing care in outpatient surgery in its entirety as a legal imperative and fundamental for promoting continuous improvement in the quality and safety of nursing care. This documentation has been integrated into nursing information systems, but weaknesses remain that compromise its potential as a tool that adds value to nursing care. Thus, a restructuring of documentary support for nursing practice was developed based on more current evidence and translating the nurse's decisionmaking in an intentional and systematized way using the Nursing Ontology and ICNP®.
