O presente relatório visa a exposição das aprendizagens e competências adquiri das no Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem – Especialização em Enfermagem de Reabili tação, através de uma apresentação detalhada das atividades realizadas que contribuíram
para a aquisição de competências comuns do enfermeiro especialista, competências es pecíficas do enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem de reabilitação e competências de
mestre.
Os problemas respiratórios produzem impactos negativos na qualidade de vida e
na independência da pessoa, podendo conduzir à intolerância à atividade e comprometer
o autocuidado. Uma área de atuação do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Re abilitação é a área respiratória, na qual é realizada reeducação funcional respiratória atra vés da implementação de técnicas específicas, resultando na melhoria da funcionalidade
respiratória.
Procedeu-se à realização de um programa de intervenção que incluiu 9 participan tes, que teve como objetivo analisar as intervenções de enfermagem de reabilitação pro motoras da melhoria da respiração em pessoas com alteração da funcionalidade respira tória. A análise aos resultados obtidos com o programa de enfermagem de reabilitação
desenvolvido permitiu concluir que a sua implementação contribui para a melhoria da fun cionalidade respiratória, que se verifica pela diminuição ou cessação do suporte ventilató rio, pela diminuição da sensação de dispneia e, consequentemente, pela promoção da in dependência para a realização de autocuidados.
Este trabalho académico finda-se com uma análise crítica e reflexiva relativamente
ao desenvolvimento das competências acima descritas.
This report aims to expose the learning and skills acquired in the Master's Course in Nursing - Specialization in Rehabilitation Nursing, through a detailed presentation of the activities carried out that contributed to the acquisition of common skills of the specialist nurse, specific skills of the specialist nurse in rehabilitation nursing and master skills. Breathing problems have a negative impact on the person's quality of life and inde pendence, which can lead to activity intolerance and compromise self-care. An area of ac tion of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing is the respiratory area, in which respir atory functional re-education is carried out through the implementation of specific tech niques, resulting in the improvement of respiratory functionality. An intervention program was carried out that included 9 participants, which aimed to analyse the rehabilitation nursing interventions that promote improved breathing in peo ple with altered respiratory functionality. The analysis of the results obtained with the devel oped rehabilitation nursing program led to the conclusion that its implementation contributes to the improvement of respiratory functionality, which is verified by the decrease or cessa tion of ventilatory support, by the decrease in the sensation of dyspnoea and, consequently, by promoting independence to perform self-care. This academic work ends with a critical and reflective analysis of the development of the skills described above.
