Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório Final foi elaborado no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática
Educativa, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, na
Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra, e teve como principal objetivo o aprofundamento de
conhecimentos e competências na implementação de estratégias de desenvolvimentos
socioemocional, desenvolvendo um projeto de investigação em contexto de Educação Pré-
Escolar, que visou compreender como o elogio pode ser um potenciador da autoestima e das
relações entre pares.
O projeto incidiu no planeamento de ações contextualizadas no quotidiano concreto do grupo
e na realização de diferentes intervenções e propostas integradas, utilizando distintas técnicas
e instrumentos para a recolha e sistematização de dados, como a observação direta participante
e as notas de campo, o Focus Group, o Role Play e as produções das crianças. Todas as evidências
serviram para a análise do estudo.
Tendo em conta os objetivos definidos, o estudo de natureza qualitativa, incidiu na metodologia
de investigação-ação, com um grupo heterogéneo de crianças com idades compreendidas entre
os 4 e os 6 anos. No final da investigação, conclui-se que as crianças através das intervenções
multinível dinamizadas, tendo como fator crítico o elogio e atitudes de encorajamento,
estreitaram as suas relações, fortaleceram a sua autoestima e o ambiente educativo tornou-se
mais acolhedor.
This Final Report was prepared as part of the Educacional Practice course of the Master's degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of rhe 1st Cycle of Basic Education, at the Coimbra School of Education, and its main objective was to deepen knowledge and skills in the implementation of socio-emotional development strategies, developing a research project in the context of Pre-School Education, which aimed to understand how praise can be an enhancer of self-esteem and peer relationships. The project focused on planning contextualized actions in the group's daily life and carrying out different interventions and integrated proposals, using different techniques and instruments to collect and systematize data, such as direct participant observation and field notes, Focus Group, Role Play and the children's graphic productions. All the evidence was used to analyze the study. Taking into account the objectives set, the qualitative study focused on the action research methodology, with a heterogeneous group of children aged between 4 and 6. At the end of the research, it was concluded that through the multilevel interventions, with praise and encouraging attitudes as the critical factor, the children strengthened their relationships, strengthened their self-esteem and the educational environment became more welcoming.
