Abstract(s)

Today, Human Resource Management prefers to consider a professional as much by the brilliant teamwork skills and to learn to maximize the group's production than for qualities said to be of “individual application”. The objective of this study is to address emotional intelligence, such as a tool of reading and management of the other, considering as independent variables gender, age and education. For this purpose it was initially analyzed what has been written on the subject and developed a questionnaire. The aim here, is to understand the extent to which individuals are emotionally intelligent, and how to make use of this capacity / emotion within the organization to which they belong.
