Abstract(s)
O presente estudo propõe-se analisar as práticas de conciliação do trabalho com a vida
pessoal/familiar das mulheres na Administração Pública, mais concretamente no ISS,
IP. Procuramos compreender se as medidas existentes são facilitadoras dessa
conciliação.
Como objetivos específicos pretende-se caracterizar a organização em estudo e
identificar as medidas e práticas de conciliação da vida profissional com a vida familiar
existentes na organização
Realiza-se um trabalho de caráter exploratório, qualitativo, com recurso ao estudo de
caso. Recorre-se à entrevista semiestruturada como técnica de recolha de informação.
Realizaram-se nove entrevistas: três a dirigentes e seis a trabalhadoras, com o intuito
de identificarmos as práticas de conciliação em vigor na organização. A partir da análise
de conteúdo categorial temática conclui-se que a organização desenvolve um conjunto
de medidas que visam facilitar a conciliação entre a vida profissional e a vida privada.
Na perceção das entrevistadas a possibilidade de usufruto dessas práticas pelas
trabalhadoras, visa um maior comprometimento e mesmo a retenção das trabalhadoras.
Consideram que com essas medidas conseguem ter um maior equilíbrio entre a vida
profissional e a vida familiar.
Analisando as respostas consegue-se, também, perceber como colocar em prática as
medidas de conciliação e o que poderá ser melhorado nas medidas de conciliação na
Administração Pública.
With this empirical study we pretend to analyze and evaluate the practices of work life balance for womens in the public administration, more specifically on the ISS, IP. With the completion of this work, the aim is to characterize the organization under study and to understand which policies and practices of conciliation in the management of professional and family life exist in the organization and that can be enjoyed by the workers in a harmonious way, allowing a balance in the various spheres of their lives, in addition to obtaining the managers' perception of these same practices. The approach is qualitative, exploratory in nature, using the semi-structured interview technique. Nine interviews were carried out: three with managers and six with workers, in order to identify which Human Resource Management practices are in place in the organization, document analysis was also used. than the organization, develops a set of measures that aim to facilitate the reconciliation between professional and private life. In the perception of the interviewees, the possibility of usufruct of these practices by the workers, aims at a greater commitment and even the retention of the workers, who with these measures manage to have a better balance between the professional life conjugated with the family and/or social life. Analyzing the responses of the director and workers in the institution, it is also possible to understand how to put into practice the conciliation measures as well as what can be improved in the conciliation measures in the Public Administration.
