Este relatório final de projeto, tem como principal objetivo compreender a importância da música no desenvolvimento da criança, em idade de creche e pré-escolar e qual o papel do educador para a valorização da música nestes primeiros anos de vida.
A Expressão Musical pode contribuir com inúmeros benefícios para a aprendizagem e desenvolvimento das crianças, desenvolvendo também a atenção e concentração da criança. Quanto mais cedo as crianças emergirem num ambiente sonoro diversificado maiores serão as oportunidades de potenciar as suas habilidades musicais.
No presente estudo pretendo investigar como é que a expressão musical é desenvolvida por parte das educadoras, das valências creche e jardim-de-infância, o que pensam sobre esta temática e como exploram. No decorrer desta investigação, alguns foram os dispositivos de recolha e análise de informação utilizados, como a observação participante, notas de campo, registos multimédia, análise documental dos projetos pedagógicos e curriculares das salas e os inquéritos por questionário fornecidos às educadoras das duas valências.
Após analisar e refletir sobre todos os dados recolhidos, elaborei este relatório indicando quais as minhas intervenções nos contextos como também as intervenções das educadoras bem como quais as suas conceções.
Sendo que posso concluir que: nem sempre as conceções das educadoras equivalem, na totalidade, às suas práticas; que a expressão musical articulada a outras áreas de conteúdo pode contribuir com inúmeras aprendizagens e desenvolvimentos; e que a música pode ser explorada em diversas atividades, sendo também importante incluí-la como parte da rotina promovendo o bem estar e relaxamento do grupo de crianças.
This final project report aims to understand the importance of music in child development, age nursery and pre-school and the role of the educator to the value of music in these early years. The Musical Expression can contribute with many benefits to learning and development of children also develop attention and concentration of children. The sooner children emerge in a larger diverse soundscape, the bigger will be opportunities to enhance their musical abilities. The present study aims to investigate how the musical expression is developed by the educators of kindergarten and nursery valences, what they think about this issue and how to explore it. In the course of this investigation, some were the collection devices and analysis of information used, such as participant observation, field notes, multimedia records, document analysis of pedagogical and curricular designs of the rooms and the questionnaire surveys provided to teachers of both valences. After analyze and reflect on all the data collected, I have elaborated this report indicating what my interventions in contexts as well as the interventions of the teachers and their conceptions. Since I can conclude that: not always educators' views are equivalent in aggregate to their practices; the articulated musical expression to other content areas can contribute to numerous learning and development; and that music can be explored in various activities, and is also important to include it as part of routine promoting the well-being and relaxation of the group of children.
