| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação tem como tema central a Casa de Transição enquanto estrutura que pretende consubstanciar uma parte importante das políticas de reeducação e reinserção social, como meio de evitar a reincidência nas práticas criminosas. Pretendemos entender o seu papel e contributo para a reinserção social dos ex reclusos que não possuem à saída do Estabelecimento Prisional um domicílio estável, nem laços familiares, visando a sua reeducação e aquisição de competências que lhes permitam encontrar um trabalho que lhes garanta a sua autonomização e, quando seja necessário, intervir em situações de adições pré-existentes. Para a realização desta investigação, no sentido de responder às problemáticas e aos objetivos propostos, optámos por uma metodologia de caráter qualitativo, que permite, trabalhar com significados, motivações, valores e crenças. Trata-se, assim, de uma investigação de caráter descritivo, através de um estudo de caso, no sentido de salientar a intervenção efetuada na reeducação destes indivíduos e a sua integração na sociedade. Foram realizadas 15 entrevistas semiestruturadas tendo sido utilizada como técnica de tratamento da informação, a análise de conteúdo. Considerando que atualmente uma das finalidades da política criminal é a da ressocialização positiva dos ex-reclusos e a sua recuperação da sociedade, foi possível inferir através dos resultados desta investigação que a Casa de Transição assume uma função importante para o cumprimento destes objetivos. A Casa de Transição tem como um dos seus objetivos contribuir para que os ex reclusos possam adquirir experiências de voltar a viver num prédio de habitação, voltar a viver como homens livres, após o período de reclusão e que não voltem a praticar crimes, uma vez que enquanto cumpriram as penas de prisão experimentaram o sofrimento resultante da privação de liberdade e permanência num Estabelecimento Prisional. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present dissertation has as its central theme the Transition House as a structure that intends to embody an important part of the policies of re-education and social reintegration, as a means of avoiding recidivism in criminal practices. We intend to understand their role and contribution to the social reintegration of ex-prisoners who do not have a stable home or family ties when they leave the Prison, aiming at their re-education and the acquisition of skills that allow them to find a job that guarantees their empowerment and, when necessary, intervene in situations of pre existing additions. The Transition House has as one of its objectives to contribute so that ex-prisoners can acquire experiences of returning to live in a residential building, returning to live as free men, after the period of imprisonment and that they do not commit crimes again, a since, while serving prison sentences, they experienced the suffering resulting from deprivation of liberty and permanence in a Prison. In order to carry out this investigation, in order to respond to the proposed problems and objectives, we opted for a qualitative methodology, which allows us to work with meanings, motivations, values and beliefs. It is, therefore, a descriptive investigation, through a case study, in order to highlight the intervention carried out in the re-education of these individuals and their integration into society. Fifteen semi structured interviews were carried out, and content analysis was used as a technique for processing information. Considering that currently one of the purposes of criminal policy is the positive resocialization of ex-prisoners and their recovery from society, it was possible to infer from the results of this investigation that the Casa de Transição plays an important role in fulfilling these objectives. | pt_PT |
