Abstract(s)
A realização deste estágio teve como objetivo a aplicação dos conhecimentos obtidos nas diversas unidades curriculares do Mestrado e a aquisição de competências, principalmente na área de Revenue Management, que no futuro poderão representar uma mais-valia de natureza profissional.
O presente relatório encontra-se dividido em sete capítulos. No primeiro, apresenta-se uma revisão de literatura respeitante a estudos científicos relacionados com Revenue Management e
Turismo os quais, através de uma análise bibliométrica, permitiram obter resultados que evidenciam os termos mais recorrentes que deverão ser analisados com o objetivo de aumentar
a rentabilidade da respetiva organização. Na elaboração deste trabalho foram utilizados os softwares Nvivo (12) e VosViewer (1.6.11). O segundo capítulo é dedicado à apresentação do
Resort Dolce Campo Real de Lisboa, onde se inclui também um organograma da respetiva unidade hoteleira. Na terceira parte, são referidas as atividades desenvolvidas nas áreas onde decorreu o estágio, de acordo com o plano definido. O quarto capítulo relaciona o contributo
das várias unidades curriculares do curso com o desenvolvimento das atividades realizadas durante o estágio. No quinto capítulo apresenta-se um diagnóstico do setor do turismo, a nível mundial, nacional e regional, através duma reflexão sobre a situação do mesmo, na atualidade.
Ainda neste ponto, é descrita a análise da concorrência e a análise estratégica da empresa, com destaque para os pontos fortes. O capítulo seis apresenta uma proposta de valor, alinhada com os resultados da análise efetuada nos capítulos anteriores, evidenciando alguns aspetos que podem ser melhorados. O último capítulo do relatório contempla as conclusões finais e as
limitações encontradas.
The internship undertaken had the goal of applying previous knowledge obtained in several curricular units from the Master and the acquisition of competences, mainly in the area of Revenue Management, which can be of added value in the future, in what respects the professional sphere. This report is divided in seven chapters. The first presents a literature review regarding scientific studies related to Revenue Management and Tourism, which, through a bibliometric analysis, allow to obtain results that point out the most recurrent terms. These should be analyzed with the goal of increasing an organization’s rentability. To perform this task, the softwares Nvivo and VosViewer were used. The second chapter is dedicated to the presentation of Dolce Campo Real Lisboa, where it is included an organogram of this hotel. In the third one, the activities developed are mentioned, along with the areas explored during the internship, following the defined plan. The fourth chapter relates the contribute of the several Master curricular units with the development of the internship activities. In the fifth chapter, there is a diagnosis of the tourism sector, worldwide as well as in a national and regional sphere, using a reflection about the current tourism situation. Additionally, in this chapter, the competition and the company’s strategy are analyzed, with emphasis on the strong and weak aspects. Chapter 6 presents a value proposition, in line with the previous chapter analysis of results, pointing out some aspects that should be improved. The last chapter of this report contemplates the final conclusions and the limitations found.
