Abstract(s)
O presente relatório descreve o projeto de investigação-ação realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, da Escola Superior de Educação, do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal e tem como tema “O Papel do educador no processo de adaptação das crianças na creche e no jardim-de-infância” e teve como finalidade responder à questão de investigação-ação “Como potenciar a adaptação das crianças em contexto de creche e jardim-de-infância?”.
O projeto foi realizado segundo a metodologia de investigação qualitativa no âmbito da investigação-ação em contexto de estágio em creche e JI e foram utilizados como métodos de recolha e análise de informação, a observação, os registos em notas de campo sobre a observação, a análise documental referente a documentos institucionais e as respostas aos inquéritos por questionário às educadoras cooperantes que permitiram compreender práticas pedagógicas das mesmas e intervir de forma adequada.
As observações descritas e canalisadas foram selecionadas pela pertinência para o estudo. Ao interpretá-las compreendemos que a adaptação é um processo que exige uma atenção individualizada à criança e deve ser planeado segundo estratégias pertinentes e em cooperação com a família.
O relatório está estruturado em quatro capítulos. O primeiro relativamente ao enquadramento teórico, o segundo refere-se à metodologia utilizada e aos métodos de recolha e análise de dados, o terceiro remete para a descrição dos contextos de estágio e para a análise da minha intervenção e o quarto delineia as considerações finais e o balanço feito após a realização do estudo para o projeto, tendo como objetivo principal responder à questão de investigação-ação.
This report aims to address the action-research project carried out on the theme "The role of the educator in the adapting process of children in kindergartens" and aims to answer the action-research question "How to empower the adaptation of children in the context of kindergartens?". The project was carried out according to the methodology of qualitative research in the field of action in context of kindergartens, and the methods of data collection and analysis used were the following, participant observation, field record notes taken upon observation, the documentary analysis of official documents, and the answers to the questionnaire surveys of the cooperating educators that allowed me to perceive the pedagogical perspectives of the educators on the present theme. The observations described and channeled were selected for relevance to the study. In interpreting them we understand that adaptation is a process that requires individualizes attention to the child and should be planned according to pertinente strategies and in cooperation with the family. The report is structured in four chapters. The first concerns the theoretical framework, the second refers to the methodology used and the data collection and analysis methods, the third refers to the description of the internship context and the analysis of my intervention, and the fourth outlines the final considerations and the balance made after completion of the study for the project, with the main objective of answering the question of action-research.
