dc.description.abstractO regresso, do doente com problemática em saúde mental, ao seu domicílio após o primeiro internamento por sintomas psicóticos, pode ser gerador de disfuncionamento para ele e para a sua família. O Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica pode trazer um importante contributo para restituir esse equilíbrio. O objetivo, foi analisar a eficácia da intervenção psicoeducativa, desenvolvida em contexto domiciliário pela equipa de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica à família e doente, após o primeiro internamento por sintomatologia psicótica. O método, iniciou-se com uma revisão integrativa da literatura, que evidenciou os benefícios da psicoeducação. A seguir, implementou-se um Projeto de Intervenção Psicoeducativo Unifamiliar em contexto domiciliário. Resultados: o Projeto promoveu uma diminuição da sobrecarga dos cuidadores e contribuiu positivamente para a satisfação e recovery dos doentes. Conclusão: A intervenção psicoeducativa deverá ser uma medida a implementar sistematicamente no plano terapêutico dos doentespt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe return of the mentally ill patient to his home after his first hospitalization for psychotic symptoms may create dysfunction for him and his family. The Mental Health and Psychiatric Specialist Nurse can make an important contribution to restoring this balance. The objective was to analyze the efficacy of the psycho-educational intervention, developed in a home context by the Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing team to the family and patient, after the first hospitalization for psychotic symptoms. The method began with an integrative review of the literature, which highlighted the benefits of psychoeducation. After that, a Unifamily Psychoeducational Intervention Project was implemented in a home context. Results: The Project promoted a reduction of the caregivers' overload and contributed positively to the satisfaction and recovery of the patients. Conclusion: The psychoeducational intervention should be a measure to be systematically implemented in the therapeutic plan of the patientspt_PT
