Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de projeto de investigação tem como tema o
brincar ao ar livre com foco na importância da exploração de materiais
naturais.
Metodologicamente, tive como base uma abordagem qualitativa e de
investigação-ação. Os principais dispositivos de recolha de dados utilizados
para responder à minha questão inicial foram: a observação participante, as
notas de campo, as conversas informais e reflexões cooperadas com as
educadora, os registos de multimédia e a entrevista realizada às educadoras
cooperantes. Foi através destes recursos que consegui compreender quais as
necessidades dos grupos e das crianças, estruturando assim as minhas
intervenções.
Nos contextos de estágio deparei-me com duas realidades bastante
diferentes, sendo que na creche as crianças tinham pouco com a natureza em
momentos de exterior, enquanto que no jardim-de-infância esse contacto era
regular.
É importante que o adulto compreenda a importância do espaço
exterior e dos materiais naturais, bem como os benefícios que estes
proporcionam ao desenvolvimento das crianças.
This research project focuses on outdoor play with and the importance of exploring natural materials. Methodologically, I was based on a qualitative and action-research approach. The main collection devices used to answer my initial question were: observation, field notes, informal conversations and reflections cooperated with the educators, multimedia records and the interview carried out with the cooperating educators. It was through these resources that I was able to understand the needs of groups and children individually, thus structuring my interventions. In the internship contexts I came across two very different realities, with children in daycare having little contact with nature when outdoors, while in kindergarten this contact was regular. It is important that adults understand the importance of outdoor space and natural materials, as well as the benefits they provide for children's development.
