O mundo digital e os métodos de pagamento começam a afetar as instituições financeiras. Estas são levadas a ajustes progressivos nos seus processos para se manterem competitivas nos mercados atuais, tendo como principal objetivo manter a transparência e segurança nas transações do cliente.
Com este relatório de estágio curricular pretende-se uma exposição em termos teóricos e práticos do trabalho que foi desenvolvido durante três meses no Millenniumbcp, na área DMR-DPI Departamento de Marketing de Retalho-Departamento de Produtos de Investimento.
Numa primeira fase, é feito um enquadramento teórico, abordando temas como a estrutura organizacional do Millenniumbcp, produtos transacionados no retalho, explorando mais detalhadamente o que são realmente estes produtos, os seus riscos inerentes e um enquadramento mais técnico dos tipos de produtos financeiros existentes na carteira do banco.
Numa segunda ótica, esta mais prática, são detalhados trabalhos e análises realizadas durante o percurso no Banco. Foram realizadas desde análises concorrenciais a análises de contas de depósitos e muitas outras a envolver o âmbito financeiro português, sempre numa vertente bancária. As fontes de informação utilizadas na produção dos gráficos e análises são fontes internas do Banco, mas também fontes existentes em sítios de Internet como o APB (Associação Portuguesa de Bancos), Banco de Portugal, INE, etc.
With this curricular internship report we intend to present a theoretical and practical presentation of the work that was developed during three months at Millenniumbcp within the scope of a curricular internship in the DMR-DPI area. Retail Marketing Department - Investment Products Department. In a first phase, a more theoretical framework is addressed, addressing themes such as the Millenniumbcp organizational structure, products transacted in retail, exploring in more detail what these products really are, their inherent risks and a more technical framing of the types of products the bank's portfolio. With this framework, I hope that the reader will get a simple, focused reading that will allow him to learn many of the concepts that were essential in accomplishing this internship. Clearly, in a second perspective, this more practical, are detailed work and analysis carried out during the course in the Bank. From competitive analyzes, analyzes of deposit accounts and many others involving the Portuguese financial environment were carried out, always in a banking sector. The sources of information used in the production of the graphs and analyzes are internal sources of the Bank, but also sources in Internet sites such as APB (Portuguese Banking Association), Banco de Portugal, INE, etc. The digital world and payment methods begin to affect financial institutions.
