Numa organização onde a eficiência e eficácia são tão importantes, cria-se uma grande necessidade de estudar o estado psicológico das pessoas que trabalham na Marinha Portuguesa, bem como o que influencia esse estado. Para além destas relações é importante perceber também o que depende da própria organização, para que a satisfação dos colaboradores possa estar sempre a um nível positivo no que depende da Instituição em que trabalham.
Sentimentos como a satisfação e confiança são essenciais para que haja um bom ambiente laboral e para que as diversas equipas funcionem de um modo saudável, cumprindo as tarefas de um modo eficaz e rentável.
Deste modo, sentiu-se necessidade de estudar a relação de variáveis que possam estar a ter influência numa etapa precoce da vida das pessoas que querem ingressar na Marinha Portuguesa.
Este trabalho de investigação pretende estudar a relação da divulgação da Marinha com a satisfação do grupo de estudo escolhido, usando como ferramenta o conceito de contrato psicológico.
Através de um modelo de distribuição do tipo de divulgação deste grupo de estudo, irá estudar-se o cumprimento do contrato psicológico da Marinha para com os indivíduos e a sua influência na satisfação. Para além desta relação será também estudada a relação da influência que a divulgação tem na satisfação, tal como sentimentos que possa ter origem devido à divulgação praticada na Marinha, como erosão, incerteza e desconfiança.
Como suporte à investigação, e de forma a poder testar as hipóteses formuladas, foi aplicado um questionário, tendo sido recolhida uma amostra de 172 inquiridos, e os resultados foram tratados estatisticamente através de técnicas e testes adequados ao tipo de hipótese e variáveis.

Besides these relationships, it is crucial to understand what depends on the organisation itself, ensuring that employee satisfaction remains consistently positive, as far as it concerns the institution they work for. Feelings such as satisfaction and trust are essential for maintaining a healthy work environment and for various teams to function effectively and efficiently, fulfilling tasks in a productive manner. Hence, there is a need to study the relationship of variables that might influence individuals at an early stage of their lives who aspire to join the Portuguese Navy. This research aims to investigate the relationship between the promotion of the Navy and the satisfaction of the chosen study group, using the concept of the psychological contract as a tool. By utilising a model of the type of promotion distribution for this study group, the research will examine the fulfilment of the Navy's psychological contract with individuals and its influence on satisfaction. Additionally, it will explore the impact of the promotion on satisfaction, as well as feelings that might arise due to the Navy's promotional practices, such as erosion, uncertainty, and mistrust. To support the research and test the formulated hypotheses, a survey was conducted, and a sample of 172 respondents was collected, with the results being statistically analysed using techniques and tests appropriate to the type of hypothesis and variables.
