This study analyzes the barriers and challenges faced by women in accessing management positions, as well as the benefits that gender diversity can bring to companies, particularly regarding innovation, decision-making, and overall performance. Through a literature review and practical case studies in the automotive sector, this dissertation aims to demonstrate how the inclusion of women in leadership roles can contribute to improving the organizational environment and company results. The results reinforce the importance of corporate policies that promote gender equality and encourage female participation in management positions, highlighting the positive impacts on performance, organizational culture, and sector competitiveness.
