O nascimento de um pai em fase de pandemia

A comunicação do pai com o feto é inerente ao processo de vinculação.
Embora alguns pais se sintam excluídos da relação fisiológica, é fundamental
reconhecerem que emocionalmente podem estar conectados e construir laços
afetivos que perduram por toda a vida.
Com este estudo pretende-se compreender as experiências vividas pelo “pai”
na comunicação com o feto no processo de vinculação, em fase de pandemia.
Desenvolveu-se um estudo descritivo e transversal, de abordagem qualitativa,
para responder à questão: Qual a influência da comunicação do pai com o feto no
processo de vinculação, em fase de pandemia?
Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas entre fevereiro e maio de 2021
a 24 pais que consentiram participar do estudo e estiveram presentes no parto. No
tratamento dos dados foi efetuada a análise de conteúdo segundo Bardin e com
suporte no software WebQDA®.
A maioria dos pais comunicou por voz ou toque com os filhos quando
começaram a sentir os movimentos fetais e visualizaram maior volume abdominal
nas companheiras. A maior parte refere não ter podido acompanhar suas parceiras
nos exames e consultas devido as limitações pandémicas. Mostraram-se
insatisfeitos com o distanciamento, o qual dificultou a interação com o recém nascido no internamento de puerpério; não obstante, demonstraram ter conseguido
estratégias que os auxiliasse a transpor tais barreiras. O sentimento expresso pelos
pais no nascimento e ao verem os filhos no internamento de puerpério, mesmo por
fotografias ou vídeos foi essencialmente de emoção e felicidade.
A pandemia limitou o processo de vinculação e o envolvimento do pai durante
a gravidez; como tal, é fundamental investir na formação que fomente o
envolvimento do pai mesmo em fase pandémica.
Communication between the father and the fetus is inherent to the attachment process. Although some fathers feel excluded from the physiological relationship, it is essential to recognize that emotionally they can be connected and build emotional bonds that last a lifetime. The aim of this study was to understand the experiences lived by the “father” in communicating with the fetus in the bonding process, in a pandemic phase. The study is classified as a transversal, descriptive with a qualitative approach, where I answered the question: What is the influence of the father's communication with the fetus in the bonding process, in a pandemic phase? During data collection, semi-structured interviews were carr3ied out with 24 parents who consented to participate in the study and were present during labor. They were invited to participate in the study from February to May 2021. In the treatment of data, content analysis was performed according to Bardin, supported by software WebQDA®. Most parents communicated by voice or touch with their children when they began to feel fetal movements and visualized greater abdominal volume in their partners. The feeling expressed by fathers at birth and when they see their children in postpartum hospitalization, even by photographs or videos, was essentially of emotion and happiness. Most fathers reported not having been able to accompany their partners in exams and consultations due to pandemic limitations. They were dissatisfied with the distance, which made it difficult to interact with the newborn during postpartum hospitalization; nevertheless, they demonstrated that they were able to have strategies that would help them to overcome such barriers. The pandemic has limited the bonding process and father involvement during pregnancy; so, it is essential to invest in training that encourages father involvement even in a pandemic phase.
