Abstract(s)
parte do paciente.
In recent years, the search for an ideal smile by the population has led to the development of dental medicine that now aims to preserve more and more the dental structure, while obtaining the highest aesthetic result possible in association with the social and professional life of each individual. As patient and clinician requirements increased, techniques and materials used in fixed prostheses also evolved to better achieve the desired end goal. There is an immense diversity of approaches to treat the different variations of shape, position, alignment, symmetry, proportion, surface texture and color of the anterior teeth in the daily clinical practice. Ceramic thus stands out in a positive way in the anterior sector for its longevity, high resistance and excellent optical properties. By using combined laboratory techniques and a rigorous clinical protocol, it will be possible to perform very thin veneers with minimal or no hard tissue alteration, thus creating a final result based on a conservative approach that creates minimally invasive restorations, quite aesthetic and very pleasing to the patient.
